My dad is very well treated.
The staff are polite, courteous and professional, and they readily meet my Dad's needs as and when required in a timely manner.
His room is nicely furnished and well equipped.
The premises are kept very clean and tidy.
There is a varied and interesting daily activities
programme which my dad enjoys participating in.

We just wanted to say since our father has been at Nayland House we do appreciate the care you offer. The line manager has been such a kind emotional support to us as a family- along with all the other carers who look after him. An example would be today the carers had him all organised dressed and
ready for his dental visit which supported this to go smoothly and supported us with the social work meeting too. The social worker was really impressed with his care plan which we hope will support his longer-term stay from respite. Kind regards from all the family.

My elderly dad was brought to Nayland House after spells in hospital.
Our first visit I was worried as you hear some awful things but oh my God! The top notch 200% care, love, support was utterly amazing the staff were so so lovely also gave us support. Honestly we cannot fault it at all When Dad died,
they went above and beyond.

I'm very happy and satisfied with overall experience here. Beautiful old manor house. Nice room, good facilities, nice dining room. All staff very attentive (I don't really need any personal help). Activities I take part in - outdoor walks. Very thankful that I found a care home like this.

My father stayed at Nayland House after coming out of hospital. All the staff were so caring and friendly. He had a lovely bright and very clean room. I felt very welcome when visiting Nayland House and felt my father was well looked after there.

My dad is so happy at Nayland House, every time I come to see him he tells me. Since he's been there, he has flourished. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. I feel he is looked after us so well, they do activities with them and take them for walks. His room is really lovely and everywhere
is so clean, it has a really calm atmosphere. As a family, we are so happy we have found Nayland House for Dad.

My mother died this week, after over two years in Nayland House. We have reflected on the experience and how lucky we feel to have found this care home. Mum was not well for a while after her arrival, dementia linked to Parkinson's made her afraid and very volatile. Nayland was calm and confident and
worked with the GP to find a way through. From then on Mum was happy. She socialised at meal times with a small group who became friends. She welcomed visitors but was happy when we left as well. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy visits without any feeling that we had to be protective. The team at Nayland is most unusual, they are all warm and loving, shedding tears when Mum died. The home feels calm and Mum's room was particularly airy and light. We are incredibly grateful for the loving, totally professional and expert support that gave Mum two surprisingly happy years.

My mum was at Nayland House for 20 months in the dementia unit. I visited her twice a week, every time finding her content and happy. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Always keeping me informed of any issues with Mum. Finding it very hard not to worry about Mum, the lovely staff always
gave me confidence that she was safe and very well cared for. The home is light, bright, very clean and comfortable. Each room is a good size and the communal rooms are always full of residents. I was quite often there when lunch was served, which always looked and smelled lovely.

One of the standout features of our experience with Nayland House is the exemplary level of open communication, which we noted was prioritised from the outset by all staff. Staff are readily available and accessible to address any concerns or questions and we have been consistently kept abreast of important
updates and changes, which has been enormously reassuring. The facilities themselves are well-maintained and thoughtfully designed creating a warm and homely environment. The cleanliness, attention to detail and small personal touches are all remarkable and contribute to a sense of tranquillity. One aspect that has particularly impressed us is the variety of stimulating activities used to engage residents. It is so heartwarming to see our loved ones engaged and enjoying themselves! The dedication and compassion of the staff, coupled with excellent facilities in a peaceful setting gives us tremendous reassurance that our loved one is receiving the highest quality of care.

I have selected all the excellent ratings due to having worked in 2 care homes many years ago. From the care and support my father receives with dignity. I know he is safe and secure within this care home. Staff and management are all kind, and helpful and have the time for a chat while going about
their jobs. All the rooms are lovely, fresh and clean. I have watched while visiting my father the activities going on around us, sometimes we join in. I am always asked if I would like tea/coffee and biscuits when my father has his. The care home is more like a hotel and I wish my first experience of care work had been somewhere like this. Along with facilities, this care home is value for money.

My wife was only a resident and active for about two months, with a further month bedridden before her death. She settled in well and easily (being a gregarious person) and I was confident that she was confident in her surroundings and with the support she was given. She was clearly popular with the
staff, who smiled a lot for her. I can only say I am hugely grateful for the way in which she was looked after after I had been obliged to cease caring for her.

I would highly recommend Nayland House care home. The hallway is very welcoming and the facilities are excellent and very clean throughout the home. The staff are very welcoming and happy to chat with you when you visit. The care they gave my mum was excellent. I can't praise the housekeeping, carers
and management highly enough for their professionalism. Sadly my mum passed away, all the staff went above and beyond to comfort and help me with my loss which I truly thank them for.

My mother was in Nayland House for only a brief period but in that time she was well cared for and more importantly loved. When she sadly passed away I was blown away by all the staff's compassion and respect they showed me. They dealt with everything for me and I was glad she was there when she passed
and not in a hospital. Thank you.

Every week we go to visit my friend and it is such a lovely care home. The staff are really efficient and nothing is too much for them. The short while my friend has been there he seems so relaxed and happy. He seems so much more alert and he does remember doing some activities. He has dementia but
it is nice to see him being more sociable.

Lovely experience whilst visiting on a Saturday. All the residents were having their nails done and being pampered. The staff are so loving and caring and the management team are so approachable, nothing is ever too much trouble. The food smells great and the home is clean and tidy.
