My dad has been receiving excellent care from everyone who works at Spring Lodge. He was extremely agitated and anxious when he arrived, but we have seen such excellent progress since he arrived. Mum is very well looked after and seems to be content with life. Her room has plenty of space for her possessions and looks out over the well kept gardens. Staff are all really friendly and keep us up to date with various activities as well as Mum's state of health.

I always look forward to visiting my husband. It's an opportunity to chat with the staff who care for him. I often stay to eat with him, me staff are always very welcoming. The care home has always a very friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed the Oktoberfest, the staff went to a lot of effort to give the
residents a happy afternoon.

I am happy with the care my friend receives. The food always looks good. One criticism is I think the lounge could be made more cosy, not keen on the way arm chairs are arranged looks very clinical.
All the staff are friendly and I can see she is very fond of them.

My mother-in-law is being well cared for. The staff are very friendly and usually efficient (sometimes they seem stretched to get everything done). She is happy with the food generally. Her medical needs are usually dealt with in a timely manner. Security is very good - Fort Knox would be easier!

Mum came to Spring Lodge about three weeks ago after living in her own flat. She's enjoying living here, having more company and the food she says is top class. It's been a complete change for her but the staff have been so helpful and she has settled in very well. It has been a worry for us all as
it must be strange for her at her age.

I'm very grateful for every single member of staff who has cared for my nan over the last few years. I can't put into words how thankful myself and my family are for your hard work and dedication. Nanny was a very elegant and graceful lady who loved her dancing! The staff were always looking for ways
to keep her engaged with music and ballet and talking to her about her interests. It was clear that Nanny was well-loved within the home. I am particularly impressed with the standard of end-of-life care provided to my nan. In her final days, the staff were always on hand to answer any questions and were so kind and gentle with her. Thank you to every member of staff at Spring Lodge. Each one of you has made my nanny's final few years much more comfortable. I will appreciate you all forever.

I have been staying at Spring Lodge Care Home for the past three weeks. I am very happy here. The staff have been so welcoming and caring and will go out of their way to accommodate me. I have been eating very well and it has been lovely to make friends and have a laugh. My room is very comfortable

My friend has been living at Spring Lodge for a year. I visit her weekly. Spring Lodge is a very homely but efficient run home. The carers and office staff are encouraging and kind. Everyone is treated with respect. The buildings and gardens are very nice.

Following hospitalisation for kidney problems, staff at Spring Lodge agreed to my request that he be returned there as he had been so well cared for previously. Though not a nursing home, they accepted responsibility for his comfort and quality of life during his anticipated three-month period of palliative
care. The hospital staff arranged for appropriate medication to be accessible quickly as needed. He died peacefully some thirteen weeks later.

My wife has been with you for three years now. In that time, she has been well looked after. When I visit, she is always clean and tidy, as is the home. The staff are very good and, whilst she doesn't know me, she responds well to the staff, who always have time for her. I am kept informed of any changes
to her medication, no matter how small. The activities are also good. The food and the menu are excellent. Keep up the good work.

Working as the Deputy Manager/Clinical lead at Spring Lodge since September 2023 I feel there is a great team and thoroughly enjoy working with them all. I have a passion for person-centred care and am enthusiastic about promoting this throughout the home; I believe in providing a holistic approach to care and am looking forward to working with the caring staff already established at Spring Lodge to embed this further.
