We are glad that you are happy with your dad's care and would like to thank you for bringing these items to our attention. Our aim is to provide the best possible care to those we support, which includes activities and handling of personal items. At Belvedere Lodge, we have a monthly activity planner, taking into account group activities, one-to-one and trips out of the home, this month's activities included: crafts, film club, world egg day, board games, shopping trips followed by lunch out. If there are any trips, activities or events you believe your dad would enjoy, please let us know. We apologise for the laundry mishap, we are reviewing our labelling system to reduce the likelihood of this happening again. We have a named key worker assigned to your dad which includes tidying/reviewing items in their wardrobe. We will ensure this is looked into immediately. I will share this feedback with the Belvedere team, if this does persist, please contact the home's manager.

Kay is the Registered Manager at Belvedere Lodge and has been with AbleCare since 2021. She has vast experience in elderly and dementia care and completed her Health and Social Care level 5 qualification in 2023.
Kay goes out of her way for each and every one of her residents, taking them shopping, taking them to weddings, ensuring the care received is personalized and providing a safe space for all within the home.
Kay won manager of the year at the AbleCare Awards 2023 and was a finalist in the Southwest Care Awards.

Lois is the Deputy Manager at Belvedere Lodge and has been with AbleCare since 2022. She has a dual role where she spends half her time in the office ensuring compliance is followed and the other half ensuring good standards are maintained on the shop floor.
Lois has worked her way up from a care assistant to a deputy manager and has recently enrolled on her Health and Social Care level 5 qualification.
She is passionate about supporting those with Dementia and ensuring that they receive the best care possible.
