Friendly home with lovely staff, excellent home-cooked food and cakes, a constantly boiling kettle and generally a very nice feel to the place.
I would highly recommend Bridge House and we are very glad to have found it.

I have been to Bridge House twice now and I can see only in a short while, that my father-in-law has settled well and the care and attention I see there is amazing. In two weeks, he has been on a boat trip and was available to go on a cream tea, he was so happy there, he stayed to chat with a chap.
The home is fantastic, in and out. The garden has a miniature railway and is just great and well-kept. Today they were doing flower arranging, but I was able to take my father-in-law out into the garden to have a walk. I was treated to greeted to tea and biscuits and a smile and at the end of the visit, helped to make my way, without trouble.

The home is lovely. All the staff are friendly and they always make you feel welcome as a visitor. Mum enjoys the food, has a nice, clean room and is happy living there. They will help with organising things like parties and residents and relatives are invited and included when there is a special event.
I only gave activities a good, because I am not 100% sure what activities they do.

I find it a very nice home. Caring staff, friendly atmosphere and nice surroundings. Usually, plenty going on, a bit restricted at the moment, due to sign of the times. Easy to approach with any problems. Most satisfactory.

My brother was in Bridge House Residential Home for six and a half years. He was loved and cared for and was very content and happy. He enjoyed everything that was going on. Going out on outings, entertainment, special events, parties, and birthdays, which he could choose what he wanted for tea and
a birthday cake was made. The family was always invited and made very welcome, but of course, l lot of this was affected by covid. It was a good six and a half happy years for him, until sadly we lost him on January 31st 2022.

My mum had a short stay at Bridge House. Very well run, homely home. All the staff were so caring and kind to Mum and also to me. Lovely home-cooked meals, which she enjoyed. Lots of different activities for everyone. Thank you all for looking after Mum.
