Anchor’s St Anne's, in Saltash, is a purpose-built home supporting up to 33 older people to live a comfortable lifestyle, as well as providing dementia care. It was rated Outstanding by the CQC in their most recent report in March 2021 and continues to welcome new residents.

The home is located in a quiet area within a short distance of the River Tamar and the Tamar Bridge. A range of care services is available at St Anne's, including convalescence care, respite care, trial stays and long term care.

Residents can participate in stimulating activities organised by the care team, taking into account individual and group interests. These take place in both the home and the local community.

Each resident’s individual needs are regularly assessed to ensure their care plans meet their lifestyle requirements. Residents are offered menus which are freshly made by a highly trained catering team, using locally sourced produce where possible.

The staff are very caring. They are aware of each of the residents individual needs and ensure that the residents are clean and dressed appropriately. The rooms are cleaned on a regular basis and do not have any lingering smells. The residents are encouraged to use the lounge and dining room, although
if they prefer to eat in their rooms, the food is always served hot. The residents are encouraged to take part in all activities. The food is freshly made and is delicious rating into consideration a healthy balanced diet. Residents are treated with dignity at all times.

My mum has dementia and spent time in hospital. She was very anxious about returning. They were brilliant, made her feel welcome and restored her confidence. She is now happy and feels like she is at home.

The staff at St Anne's continue to provide a high standard of compassionate and positive care for Mum who has now been a resident for nearly two years. As her needs have changed over that time they have been responsive in altering her care plan and take a truly person-centred approach. St Anne's is
a positive environment both in terms of the high standard of decor and cleanliness but also due to the warm, welcoming and cheerful attitude of the staff. Thank you again for all that you are doing.

We viewed St Anne's when it became necessary to source residential care for my Mother. We were so impressed!
Staff - Everybody we encountered was friendly and welcoming. It also struck us that St Anne's is well-staffed.
Premises - so clean and well maintained. Careful thought has been given to make
it as near to a home from home as possible.

Dad has been at St Anne's now for over a year. My initial impression of St Anne's and its wonderful staff remains unaltered. Dad has settled in really well and is very happy. The staff team are incredible, one and all. I can't fault it and would highly recommend St Anne's to anyone looking for a care

My mother has been a resident of St Anne's for the last two years and recently celebrated her 100th birthday. St Anne's put on a 100th birthday party for residents and family on the big day and ensured that the occasion was marked in style. A few days later St Anne's provided the upstairs lounge for
a small family and friends party which was attended by the local mayor. Both parties were greatly enjoyed by Mum and all who attended. Over the last two years my mum has been looked after with great love and care by all the staff at St Anne's. She greatly enjoys the many activities organised by St Anne's, especially the singing. Our family greatly appreciates the care and kindness Mum is shown. St Anne's is a great place for the residents to live. It is a safe and caring environment.

My mother has been a resident at St Anne's for the past 18 months. She has mild cognitive decline. My father has advanced dementia and sadly passed away earlier this month. The manager and staff showed deep concern and compassion as my mother was struggling to cope. They visited her regularly, taking
time to chat and offer support and sympathy. They facilitated my mother attending the funeral and were a fantastic support to the whole family. I cannot thank them enough.

Amazing care home. Staff could not do enough for my nan and nothing was too much. We celebrated her birthday this month and they went beyond to make her feel special on her day. Honestly, it's the best home and like I said the staff are amazing.

St Anne's is a superb care home. I am very grateful that my mother was able to find a home here. The staff are friendly, caring, kind and provide a happy atmosphere. My brother and I have excellent communication with the management and feel included in our mother's care.
Her room is clean, bright and
comfortable with an interesting view. The management have worked hard to create a stimulating environment. Staff sometimes struggle to keep up with multiple demands in their time but work hard to respond to needs as quickly as possible. Overall - excellent! Many thanks!

My mum celebrated her 82nd birthday with all the kind and caring staff at St Anne's just before Christmas. She took a turn for the worse with her dementia and was not eating, but with fantastic care and total devotion from the staff, she turned a corner. She is so happy living at St Anne's. They engage
with all residents every day and provide lots of stimulating activities. I could not ask for better care. Thank you, all.

All of the staff at St Anne's are friendly, helpful and caring. The management team have assisted my wife with the administration of my mother-in-law's accounts. St Anne's staff were exceptional during the last days of my mum's life. The care and attention they showed her were immeasurable. They also could not do enough for us, her family. From the first day my mother arrived at St Anne's, my mum was made so welcome and cared for. Nothing was too much trouble to help her settle in. This was from every member of staff, no matter what their role. Also, as a family, we were very assured of her care at all times. The activities every week
are varied, and my mum loves and joins in everything - loves music, singing and children visiting. Looking forward to Mum's safe and happy days at St Anne's.
