Having not seen mum since November 2019 (2 1/2years) it was great to visit and find lots of familiar faces among the staff. A loyal and dedicated staff who have worked extremely hard this last 2 1/2years during the covid pandemic to ensure that the home continues to run smoothly. As I live 250 miles
away the only means of speaking to mom during the pandemic has been our three times weekly telephone chats the staff have been extremely good at making the telephone chats work. We are hoping to visit again in August 2022. Well done Langholme.

All the staff are friendly, helpful and caring. They know who I am and know about my grandmother. They are supportive in trying to ensure my grandmother is comfortable, reassured and cared for. The food always looks and smells very good and is healthy.

Mum could no longer remain in her previous home as her visual impairment and lack of confidence caused her to be anxious. She walked to Sidmouth prom daily. Two spells in hospital (catching covid) meant she basically lost the use of her legs. She was transferred to Langholm and received the care and
love that she needed. She has been bedridden now and very sleepy but she remains cheerful.

My mum has been very happy since moving to Langholme fifteen months ago. The warm and considerate welcome by the staff and residents helped her settle quickly, and she expressed her contentment to the family often. Although mum's care needs have increased recently, the managers and carers have continued
to give her compassion and loving care, even through the very difficult times of the national pandemic crisis. They have also done their best to accommodate and support us through this time. Gradually social events and trips out are now part of Langholmes residents' activities, which mum very much enjoys! Recommend Langhome highly.

Mum who is 101 has been at Langholme for a few years now and I'm delighted to say that the carers and attention she gets from the home and all the staff are truly outstanding. The staff are exceptional in how they look after their residents and the facilities are faultless. We as a family consider ourselves
very lucky that mum is a resident there and is so well looked after given her advised age and health. We would recommend Langholme to anyone who might need a first class care provider now or in the future.

All visits to visit my mum have been carried out with respect to covid safety, my mum's needs and my needs. The staff are kind, caring, and thorough. I have not ticked boxes relating to indoor facilities as visits here have been mostly outside.

Langholme is the best care home in the area as far as I am concerned. The staff are very caring and professional in all that they do. I am so happy that my auntie is being cared for here. Even though I have not been able to see her since December last year, I get feedback from my mum and another auntie,
who on the whole visit once a week. I have seen her via video link and know she is happy, still her cheeky self. Thank you for looking after her so well.

My sister is at Longholme and is very happy here.
She has been in Falmouth all her life and I am glad that albeit she now needs care facilities she is still living in Falmouth near her family and friends and so many of the residents know her. I visit her regularly with my other sister and the staff
are all very friendly and thorough with our visiting procedures.

The care given to my mother by the staff at Langholme during these last few difficult months has been fantastic. What a marvellous team they are - all of the staff totally dedicated and I cannot praise them enough.

Langholme is an outstanding Methodist Home. They have dealt with very challenging times during Covid, having to juggle lockdown with some residents finding the situation difficult to understand. All the staff at all levels I have spoken to work with genuine care, compassion, and commitment. Nothing
is too much hassle for them. I moved my friend to Langholme to take away the stress he was feeling managing a home and the loneliness of living alone. I wanted his final years to be happy ones. He has settled in so well, and I can truly say this chapter of his life is turning into being a very special one thanks to everyone from admin to cleaning to management at Langholme. Thank you.

Mum has been a resident for around 6 weeks having moved from another care home locally. So glad that we chose Langholme as she is so much happier now. The staff do their very best to ensure that her needs are met. There is so much going on for her to enjoy from regular quiz sessions to music therapy
and this has had such a positive effect on her mental health. She tells me that the food is delicious. Her only complaint s that she doesn't like the coffee!

Mum had to go into a care home last year, initially, she was placed in a home 10 miles away from her home town until a vacancy came up nearer to her home town. Although the first care home was lovely and tried their best through these COVID times, once she moved to Langholme what a difference we found.
Langholme keep us informed of everything which includes Mum, COVID updates and much more. We feel totally included as a family, it's a true home from home. Mum looks lovely, always clean, tidy and extremely happy, which makes us happy.

Although I have only been a resident in Langholme for two weeks I was very familiar with the home through services, fetes and visiting several residents over the fifty years. I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every minute of my stay and the staff in every section being most caring, helpful and
friendly. The most eloquent tribute to Langholme came from a friend who said I sounded like someone who had been a resident for years other than for one and a half weeks!

I was very impressed with the safe visiting during lockdown. The resident that I visited told me that he had a dog as a companion during the never-ending hours that he has to remain inside Langholme. I think this was so thoughtful to keep him motivated and provide him with a friend. He isn't the most
sociable person so a dog is ideal.
