Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2025 weekly care fees for residential care start from ÂŁ1611, but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.
*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support, your weekly fee could be higher.
The home provide care 24 hours a day - 7 days a week and if visiting a family member outside of normal hours, this can be arranged with the home's manager, Penberthy House do not restrict visits to certain hours of the day, Penberthy want this to be their home, as much as ours.

I am a passionate and well-rounded person and always want the best for our residents. I work hard to ensure that our staff at Penberthy have the skill set to assist our residents with every aspect of their daily living. I encourage staff with any ideas that they have, to bring them forward if they enable our residents to live a richer, more full life. Our residents at Penberthy have access to activities throughout the day and evening. We arrange outings and have entertainers come into Penberthy on a regular basis.
I have worked as an area manager for community Care for Cornwall Care for 10 years, I then decided to change career paths into the Residential setting. I have 15 years’ experience within the health sector, I was the Deputy Manager when Penberthy earned all green on the CQC inspection. I embrace change, lead by example and always have a positive, warm attitude.
