St Petroc's House Care Home is a beautiful home in the historic town of Bodmin, providing the very highest standards of care to independent or fragile elderly men, women or couples, mobile or disabled, blind or partially sighted in order that they maintain a high quality of life in a cheerful, carefree atmosphere.

St Petroc's is an attractive house set in its own beautiful and extensive grounds whilst being close to local amenities.

Carers are delighted to offer Day Care & Respite Care facilities in St.Petroc's as well as standard facilities for permanent Residents.

If you or a family member or friend are looking to, 'lighten the load' to take life a bit easier and to enjoy the companionship that can be found in St Petroc's House please do come and visit.

Very caring, plenty of time to explain to family members. Freedom as much as possible for mum to go out for a while, mum is rested and less agitated. All needs met.

The reason I'm here is due to a very complicated hip operation, a one-off that can't be repeated. I have to have care and physio. On my arrival, I found very friendly staff and the manager understood my needs. The staff have been so helpful and I have very good contact with senior staff, any problems
I have had they have rectified straight away. I had a couple of special requests which they have seen to. The food here is of a high standard and I have to be on a high protein diet to build me back up. They have done their best to provide all that I need. I am exceptionally happy here.

A bright and airy home with staff to match, I can find no areas in which I could fault this home.
The cleanliness is excellent, meals are wholesome and appetising, the time and care given to the residents faultless.
Whatever my mood when visiting, I always leave feeling brighter and happier.

My husband was admitted 6 weeks ago. He has received excellent care, all his needs have been catered for. He hasn't been an easy patient, but the staff have treated him with sympathy and dignity. The food is excellent. I have all of my questions answered with kindness.

The staff were excellent rang the bell and they were there. Always ready to help. One week's respite stay whilst the family went away to a family wedding.

From day one we were greeted with warmth and understanding.
They have helped us with any problems we have had.
Mum was made so welcome and settled in from the first day.
I cannot tell you how helpful they all are.
Always with a smile.
I can honestly say it's the best care home I have been in.

This respite was such a welcome break for myself and wife. The staff were exceptional with their care and homely manner. Everything was so homely. Good food, comfy bed and wonderful staff.

Yes, it does cost a lot of money to have a bespoke care package provided in a care home setting. However, if you break it down and think about all that you get for the money (a room in a house, 24-hour care, all meals, laundry etc) it quickly becomes apparent that in terms of value for money - it's rather exceptional). The home is clean and tidy, staff very friendly and caring. Mum is quite happy here and seems to be well looked after. Staff respond quickly when she's unwell and keep me informed.

Staff are extremely helpful - nothing is ever too much trouble. I am always kept informed if anything changes with my dad. If I have any worries or concerns I know the staff will do all they can to help and have done so on many occasions. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff or the home.

We could not have received better care then we did for my dad at St Petroc's. All staff were very friendly and helpful. On first visiting St Petroc's it had a lovely feel, a really good atmosphere. Although dad was only there for a month he improved so much due to the care and obviously the chef. We
hear such horror stories about care homes but you all proved this to be one less worry for the family. Thank you.

Mum has been well cared for in the time she has been here. She appears settled and content and the staff have been very kind to her. She appears happy to be here but sometimes says she misses having people to talk to, but maybe she likes to talk too much.

I have been in the care home for just over 12 months and during that time, I have been treated with dignity and well looked after by the kind and friendly staff. Despite their busy schedule, nothing has been too much trouble. If I need help or assistance at any time. The meals are excellent with a good
variation. The recent addition of a fried breakfast (if required) once a week is proving very popular and something extra to look forward to. The laundry and cleaning services are a credit to the home. I would have no hesitation in recommending St Petroc's House Care Home to friends and family as it is a very welcoming and friendly home.
