Located near the centre of Truro, with beautiful views over the city, Redannick has an excellent reputation in the local community, providing residential, nursing, dementia and palliative care.

With four wings, each with its own lounge, the home also has a conservatory and two dining areas, where residents enjoy delicious home-cooked meals, prepared by the home’s own chef. From roast dinners with all the trimmings to fish and chip Fridays, and home-baking for afternoon tea.

The residents enjoy so many activities, from chair-based exercises and yoga, to music, games, baking, bingo and gardening.

The local community is embraced into life at Redannick and the team is passionate about keeping those community connections alive. They welcome singers and musicians, local storytellers and a group who play traditional Cornish fiddle music. Children from the local school and nursery also come and sing for the residents, who love these intergenerational activities.

The team is passionate about big celebrations and love to dress up for themed occasions.

Redannick also has a hairdressing room, where the residents can enjoy weekly appointments with a mobile hairdresser.

The home is in a fantastic location, in a residential area close to the centre of Truro, where there is so much to do. But it’s the team who make it special, with many having been with Redannick for several years, it’s a lively and vibrant home, with a warm, family feel.

Redannick also benefits from excellent transport links, close to the main Truro train station, which is excellent for family and friends, who are welcome at any time.

The staff are an extension of our family and look after my Mum beautifully. I have no worries and know they will contact me with any problems or concerns.

At Redannick House there is such a positive community atmosphere around the home and this is so noticeable as soon as you walk in! Staff are always friendly and are willing to help the residents with their needs.

My sister has been in Redannick home for nearly four years. She fell and fractured her pubic bone in October 2015, since then her mobility has deteriorated and she now has to be moved with the aid of a hoist and she is now needing 2 hourly care. She is doubly incontinent but the staffs care of her has
been excellent.
