The staff were all so friendly and caring. Mother-in-law did not want to go into the home for a week as she has always lived with us, but as we had no choice. My mother-in-law spent 8 days and when I picked her up she was so happy and enjoyed every minute of her stay.


Excellent care was given by

happy, friendly staff who always made us welcome and my mother-in-law would return again with no fears of being away from home. When we returned home, one of my mother-in-laws cardigans was missing and within half an hour the administrator had found it and brought to our home, she went above and beyond.

I am happy at Restgarth. The food and environment are good. Sometimes I feel far away from my family but the staff are always there to cheer me up. I have made some wonderful friends here.

My mother (aged 97) has settled down very well in a short time and when asked if she is happy replies "couldn't be bettered". The staff have got to know Mother and her idiosyncrasies very quickly and have been universally kind and considerate. Restgarth has a real home from home feel. It is kept beautifully
clean and is well decorated and furnished. Although she has a tiny appetite Mother enjoys the food which is varied and well prepared and presented. This has been our first experience of the care home environment and Mum and the family are very pleased in all aspects.
