We are also pleased to hear you find our staff team polite and you find the overall home environment lovely. It is disappointing you feel the home is not as clean as you would have expected, this has not been raised with our very approachable management team. I have been with Doveleigh Care since May 2023 as a Manager and then became a Registered Manager.
My mother has always worked in care since we arrived from South Africa in 2004, and I have always volunteered in the homes where she worked.
In 2018, I decided on a career change from Dental Nursing and took the leap into care in a home in Teignmouth as a Deputy Manager. I became very passionate and have moved onwards to being a trainer in 27 different topics within Health and Social Care.
I relocated when I met my (now) husband and found myself at Arcot House, where my dog is able to come to work with me when needed.
I am an avid reader outside of work, though I don’t always find time to immerse myself in a good book. I enjoy the outdoors, long walks exploring and camping with our camper van.
