My mum went into respite care in September 2021. After returning home she was unable to care for herself properly. So my sister and I decided to see if she could return as a full-time resident. The hardest thing for us as daughters is visiting in the pod but 100% agree that this is necessary to keep
our mum, staff, and other residents free of covid. Can't wait to give my mum a hug.

I can only base my review on my experience during Covid regulations, however, my mother appears to be well cared for and she has settled in and is happy. The staff are pleasant, they follow Covid precautions, and the visitor's pod is clean. I am happy with the care my mother received.

The home seems an ideal size, large enough for good facilities, small enough for personal attention. The management and staff are very professional but also, very caring. The atmosphere is always friendly and the premises are always clean and tidy. This home may not have the "bling" but it does have
an abundance of the things that really matter.

Each visit we have visited my stepsister we are impressed by the cleanliness of all the residents. All the staff are kind and caring and the residents are treated with dignity and respect. My stepsister praises the quality and variety of food. After a few personal problems settled in well, made new
friends and is happy.

The staff at Endeavour are outstanding. The care is brilliant, my nanna lives for daycare and the odd overnight stay and she is treated brilliantly.
All of her care needs are met. They talk to nanna and make sure she understands. The home is always clean, the food is excellent and the staff are amazing.

best home around. 10 stars from me.

Unfortunately, Nan was only at Endeavour a few months before she passed but in this time, the care she received was remarkable. Always clean, tidy, entertained and provided for. I was lucky enough to meet one particular lady who was nothing short of amazing in her care for my Nan. Her bedside and phone
manner were exceptional, especially in the week leading to Nan's passing. No prompting was needed for her utmost attention to care not only for Nan but for my family.
The appreciation we have for the time she took to spend with us, alongside her straight forward and easy to understand explanations of the condition were more than appreciated by my family.
The management, in particular, was nothing short of tremendous in their participation with Nan’s care and updating of the situation. The whole staff team were brilliant as Nan always appeared content but these were a few stand out members to our family.
I personally could not recommend Endeavour more for their care. Thanks to all involved.

My mum made Endeavour her home at the end of July 2018 after living with me for the previous 12 months. From arriving, mum was made most welcome and appeared to settle into her new surroundings very quickly. Whenever we arrived to visit mum which were at different times every week, we always found her
to be clean and presentable and there were always careers on hand to give assistance. Her room was always clean and tidy, her bed was always made and there were clean flannels and towels every day. The food was freshly cooked and mum enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, due to mum's condition, Endeavour was only her home for five months. In the last weeks of mum's life, the staff were unfailing in their care, compassion and making mum as comfortable as possible and nothing was too much trouble.
Thanking all the staff that made mum's last weeks of her life and mine bearable.

I have been very impressed with the care given.
All the staff seem to be genuinely caring and unfailingly patient, even with the more difficult/confused residents.
A warm welcome is given to visitors.
After 1 month my mother is looking and feeling healthier and has settled in very well.
I am happy
that she is in a safe environment where all her needs are met.
My one suggestion is that tea could be varied - maybe soup.

Thank you for your lovely comments, it is a pleasure to care for your mother and we are extremely pleased that you can see a difference in her wellbeing.
I would like to assure you that the tea time menu does generally include hot choices which include soup, and the service users are able to choose their preferred choice, however, due to the recent heatwave, soup has not been on the menu. In this instance, due to service user being a newcomer, they may not feel that they can request alternatives. I will ensure this information is reiterated to all newcomers.

My mother in law has been made to feel welcome and at home since the day she arrived. Every member of staff treats her as if she is really special to them. Their kindness and empathy go way beyond just doing a job. She is able to choose how she would like to spend her day and is supported in all that
she does. They understand all her little ways and are able to comfort and reassure her if she has a difficult day.


Any health issues have been dealt with really promptly and effectively. The way that she is looked after means that our minds are at ease, knowing that she is in a place where people really care about her.

When our cousin needed to go into care it was of course great concern. Endeavour is a lovely place, very client focused and provides excellent care. Staff are very helpful and caring. Our cousin is very happy and settled in very well.
On one occasion we met the owner and his family; we were vry impressed
with their ethos and their experience in the care sector. The owner is a pharmascist which is very reassuring.
Overall Endeavour is first class.

On an initial visit before my friend became a resident, I was shown around by a friendly member of staff. I came with my friend when she "moved in" and was sure once her initial settling in period - perhaps 4-6 weeks, she would be well-cared for.
I have continued to visit on a weekly basis and always
found staff and residents to be happy and welcoming. If I have questions, I've felt they were answered honestly. I believe the home is working with families where possible in the best interests of all residents. I think 20 is an ideal number and that a staff ratio is maintained.

My wife and I have found the care at Endeavour Residential Home to be of an extremely high standard. The staff are very friendly, open and knowledgeable. They interact continuously and positively with the residents, providing all the necessary services to them. The home is extremely clean with a warm,
cosy atmosphere. The food, which is prepared on the premises, is of a very high standard. Activities and other forms of entertainment are offered on a regular basis. Friends and relatives are always welcome to visit the residents at any reasonable time. The home is well managed with great care taken over the security and privacy of the residents.

My mother is a resident, who has vascular dementia and experiences behavioural difficulties. The staff, and particularly the management, are dealing with this with great care and efficiency. My father and I have huge respect for the dedication and professionalism shown by the staff in these difficult
circumstances. They are also always friendly and helpful when we visit, which in Dad's case is almost daily. We would have no hesitation in recommending the home to anyone finding themselves or a loved one in a similar situation. Thank you.
