Of course, the fundamentals of being Safe, Caring, Effective and Responsive are the foundations of high-quality care but their aim and purpose is to support people to live their lives as fully as possible.

Staff endeavour to provide meaningful occupation for people to remain an active participant in the local community and continue to enjoy life as fully as possible. Mallands is a community within a community.

They help to support people live their lives as fully as possible and believe it's the strong relationships they build with residents and their families, as well as understanding people’s backgrounds and interests that allow true support and companionship.

Situated in the pretty South Devon village of Abbotskerswell, 3 miles from the market town of Newton Abbot and 4 miles from the coastal resort of Torquay. The home is maintained to a high standard with attractive mature gardens, providing a peaceful and tranquil environment.

The Mallands Care was extremely wonderful, I could find no faults and all the staff were most kind and caring to all the residents.
