My review is restricted to short visits. During that time, the staff have been helpful and considerate. Games have been organized for patients, and attempts made to include all, creating a pleasant atmosphere in what otherwise could be described as a sombre setting. Fun was had by all, staff included.
At times, tea has been served to visitors.

We have been impressed by the care and understanding of our father and the family as a whole. We have all been embraced by the team and have been reassured by the professionalism and commitment the team has to its residents.
They have taken the time and given great attention to getting to know our
father and working with him to meet his needs. He is well cared for, and all his needs are met. He has become so much more relaxed and happy since arriving at Oak House.
The activities run for the residents are carefully thought through with the aim to ensure that the residents do not feel alone at this time in their life and are made to feel at the centre of the staff's attention.
Oak House has a happy, family home feel, made possible by the professionalism, hard work and, most of all, kindness and meaningful care of the team to its residents, who are at the centre of all that they do.
