Thank you, Keith, for your comments. I appreciate that your sister has not been accessing the community with support as much as we would like, this is due to the pandemic and the restrictions, but we are now able to support her back out into the community safely twice a week, and we are actively advertising for a full-time activities person in the cottage, which will provide more one to one time for all the clients living in the cottage.

I am married with three children and have two adorable granddaughters.
I have worked in the sector for 10 years. I started my career in the industry working as a care and support worker and quickly realised it was a profession i really enjoyed and found very rewarding.
I was offered a contract to become a full-time care and support worker for one of the homes i had been working for when i was an agency worker.
I accepted the offer and enrolled on my level 2 in health and social care and then completed my level 3.
I was promoted to a senior care and support worker and undertook a vast amount of training to give me the knowledge to be able to fully support a diverse and complex range of vulnerable individuals.
I started working at sainthill in November 2018 in the role of senior team leader and really felt i had found a home that was very unique, had a very positive feel and residents were actively encouraged to be as independent as they were able. The home had a very warm and homely feel about it.
2020 i was promoted to Deputy Manager and i completed my level 5 in health and social care in this year
.2021 the position for Registered manager became available at sainthill i made the decision to apply and was successful and have been the Registered manager since October 2021. The Role of RM is one that i take very seriously and along with my team at central support and my team at sainthill we are continually looking at ways we can improve, and ensure we met constant goals Outstanding care and a wonderful place to work.
