Mum was put in this home to convalesce after an operation and it was an awful experience for both her and us as a family. The stench of urine was in everything and even made her clothes tacky. I had a full shower after every visit. Management was poor, covid checking on arrival non-existent and Mum's
medication ran out during her visit and so was not given. They said there were no facilities to bathe her and nobody helped her brush her teeth. Food served cold!
The CQC was informed, but amazingly the necessary forms, MAR sheet, etc had been filled in. If the CQC had taken their time they may have noticed meds allegedly given did not correlate to those dispensed by the Hospital.
