Samantha Jane Adkins has 20 year’s experience in caring for vulnerable adults and people suffering from Dementia in the local community/ home care, care homes and hospitals.
She has started her career as a Care Assistant and worked her way to the Senior Management role and enjoys implementing person-centred care wherever she works.
Samantha is qualified for NVQ level 5 Diploma in Management and leadership for Health and Social Care and has several other qualifications to her credit.
She is a competent trainer and assessor and believes thorough training is key to looking after their clients like their own family members.
She is passionate about understanding the care needs of clients and families, preparing a person-centred care plan, delivering the care with help of trained and skilled staff members and keeping the clients, families, professional bodies (GP, District Nurses, Social Workers, etc.) well informed about any updates.
