Thank you for your Care Home Review and your feedback is important to us. Thank you for the lovely comments about the team and environment at The Hyde. We note your feedback about the food, and we are currently working on more detailed feedback from residents regarding the food we provide and have discussed with the residents their preferences. We are looking at adapting our menus to suit the residents we have. We are also working with The Hyde’s chef(s) and gardener to ensure we are using fresh produce from our own vegetable garden. Thank you again for taking the time and trouble to let us know your views so we can make care at The Hyde even better.

Many thanks for writing a review. Thank you for your very positive comments about how your sister has settled into The Hyde, and that she feels “at home”. This is so important to us, we do try to provide a “home from home” atmosphere and experience for the people who live with us, so thank you. We are pleased to receive your feedback regarding the current food offering at The Hyde and several changes have recently been made. We have moved across to the new Spring Menu in the home, which means that the variety has changed for our residents, and the interim home manager is continuing to check the quality of the food and also the service. We have introduced a new dining experience on a Saturday with a “Themed Meal” of the residents’ choice, and this is being thoroughly enjoyed, and the feedback has been excellent. We have, as you know, a beautiful walled kitchen garden at the back of the house, and we have served our first fresh asparagus from the beds there, with many more.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Rebecca has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Rebecca closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She decided to work in the care sector because, as a young child, she helped her grandmother care for children with learning difficulties; this gave her a passion to improve the lives of others.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Rebecca remarked:
“Working in an amazing team who are dedicated in providing the highest levels of care.”
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, including her sons, and she also enjoys travelling. She counts herself very lucky that she was able to go traveling to East Africa and worked in two orphanages and a maternity hospital.
