Although Mum was there for a very short time, the staff were very caring and treated Mum with respect.

My mother arrived at The Malthouse in a poor state direct from hospital in Norwich in September 2016. I was working in the area at the time so it made sense for her to be near me. She had, until late August 2016, been living on her own with carers coming to her house in Norfolk four times a day for
half an hour each visit. She spent the remaining five and a half years of her life at The Malthouse, receiving excellent care from the wonderful staff throughout. She died comfortably in her sleep in mid-March 2022, 3 months short of her 97th birthday. I never imagined that she would survive for this long. I never heard her complain about anything and she had nothing but good words to say about everyone at the home.

The malthouse cared for my father for over three years. Throughout that time and despite covid restrictions, the staff/carers were compassionate, professional and always friendly and welcoming. They really did provide a 'home', and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

The care that my mum received over the time she lived at the Malthouse was faultless. She was treated with compassion, dignity, and loving care. I was also made to feel very welcome and time was given to answer any questions I had. Her end-of-life care was amazing too, she passed peacefully, pain-free,
and dignified.

Sadly, Mum was only a resident at The Malthouse for a short space of time before she passed away. During her stay, she was treated with care, compassion and dignity; as were my sister and myself during this difficult period of time. We remain grateful that she was able to spend her final weeks in bright,
warm and homely surroundings.

My mother lived at The Malthouse from March 2020 until her passing in December 2020, during the covid 19 lockdown. The staff were magnificent. She was looked after with love and respect, so important at a time when I was unable to visit her. I recommend them with all my heart.

In the beginning, the care was 100% and with a very attentive team; this was maintained. However, I felt towards the end of my relative's life, the care was still 100%, but it seemed to take a while for someone to respond to the patient's personal alarm; this was my only criticism. Otherwise, The Malthouse
was excellent throughout my relatives stay.

Both my Mother and Mother in Law were residents at The Malthouse over a significant period of time. It became their home and the care and support they received from the Manager and her team were fantastic. Both my husband and I were so delighted to have found such a wonderful place to spend their remaining

I find the home a lovely place to live. All are so friendly and helpful. Ask, and they will help you if possible. It is so much better than living at home as I am getting more disabled and have no family. I am so well looked after.

My mother came into the home in December 2019. The manager jumped through hoops to get her out of hospital for me and into her own room, she was settled in very quickly and enjoyed her few weeks there. She sadly passed away in January 2020 but was dealt with, with so much kindness, especially at the
end, I will be forever grateful.

My mother-in-law spent the last 9-10 months of her life in The Malthouse where the care she received was superb. The staff were all friendly and chatty and approachable and clearly cared for most unconditionally. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. If I have to go into a home, I have

The care for my aunt, who was at the end of her life, was wonderful. Every single member of staff was compassionate, gentle and spent time with her even though they were very busy. Nothing was too much trouble for both the management and the staff. They really care in this home and our family was embraced.
