Nazareth Lodge has been serving the local community for over 25 years.

Nazareth Lodge offers permanent residency, respite breaks and can also offer palliative care.

The team offers a happy, vibrant home with a thriving computer club, a la carte menus and a passion for gardening, growing most of their own vegetables and flowers for the home. Hens and dogs add to the relaxed, informal atmosphere.

The home benefits from an excellent relationship with the local GP practice and district nursing team.

In March 2018 Nazareth Lodge was rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC for the second time.

Nazareth Lodge has provided thoroughly professional care to my father for the past ten months. He has been extremely content in the home, and I have no complaints whatsoever. The staff are kind, attentive, patient and caring in every way possible, with nothing ever appearing to be too much trouble.
The home may not at first glance seem to be the most modern and flashy looking home that can perhaps be found elsewhere, but the level of care is more important and I have no hesitation in recommending Nazareth Lodge as a truly excellent place.

My husband is already a resident and I have spent two weeks in respite care. I have been wonderfully cared for and feel I have recovered very quickly. I cannot fault the staff, who are so caring and gentle and always cheerful. The food is lovely, well cooked and presented. There are plenty of activities
organised and outings arranged for mobile residents. This is an excellent care home and its awards are well deserved.

My father is being very well cared for and we have absolutely no cause for any complaint. The staff are wonderfully caring, patient and understanding. They always have time for each individual resident and for relatives, always ensuring that we, as visitors, are well looked after and are made to feel

Deciding where my mother should live after our father died was one of the most difficult decisions we had to make. As a family we looked at many homes and were very impressed when we got to Nazareth Lodge with is friendly and professional staff from senior managers to the carers. The carers at Nazareth
Lodge are very special individuals, picked for their kindness and empathy.
The residents at Nazareth Lodge are all treated as individuals and can do as much or as little as they wish.
I am kept informed of my mother's health and what she has been doing and when I visit I always feel welcome and as cared for as her. It is a joy to go to Nazareth Lodge which makes a huge difference to us all. As a family, we are extremely happy with the care and attention my mother gets and it is wonderful that she is very content and we know she is safe and being well looked after.

Natasha

Natasha Baker

Job Title: Manager

Joined: 2007

Natasha has worked at Nazareth Lodge for 12 years and has risen through the ranks from Care Assistant to Registered Manager. Natasha is committed to continue to provide excellent customer service within the home understanding the need to respond to any issues promptly. She makes sure she knows the residents and their families as well as she can and is always going the extra mile to make sure everyone is happy with the service we provide here. She is actively involved in ensuring the home retains its Outstanding CQC rating. Natasha has recently completed her Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Alison Rowland

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Ali has been at Nazareth Lodge for over 6 years and has worked her way up from a carer to our new Deputy Manager. Ali supports Natasha and runs the home in her absence of Natasha. Natasha and Ali work alongside each other daily and will continue to strive to make improvements to retain our outstanding rating. They also work the shifts to identify areas for improvement to ensure that the highest standard of care is provided. Ali also continues to work on the resident’s care plans and ensure that staff have the person-centred needs of each of our residents to allow them to provide the best possible service to our residents. Her professional attitude and friendly demeanour make her the perfect choice for Deputy Manager. Ali also has a good rapport with our families and healthcare professionals. She is currently studying for her Level 4 Diploma in Leadership and Management.

Justin Edwards

Job Title: Head Of Care

Joined: 2019

Justin is our Head of Care. He started at Nazareth Lodge in 2019 and he has proven himself to be a valuable member of the team, bringing with him a wealth of management skills and experience in care. His attention to detail and tidiness make sure that everyone is kept on the ball, and his charming smile and witty sense of humour make him a favourite with residents, families and staff alike. He has now taken on the responsibility of the medications in the home, including the ordering and auditing processes, Justin is a very conscientious and precise member of staff therefore this responsibility is very much suited to him.
