Mum does not really want to be in a care home but now realises that she must be. She is more than happy with how she is looked after and cared for and I, for my part, am delighted with this.

First of all, I would like to say how very impressed I am by the manager and her team who respect each resident and show and give the utmost care.
My mother-in-law has been in Branksome Heights for just over the past two years. She is always clean and well cared for. The staff are always very welcoming
and are extremely efficient. They listen to our concerns and are available to offer advice when needed. The surroundings are very clean and also pleasant. The food is varied and nicely prepared with lots of homemade, cake, and fresh fruit daily. There is a dedicated activities team and a full programme of weekly events.
We are happy that we chose Branksome Heights.

We looked no further for a home for my mother-in-law after visiting Branksome Heights. There is a warm family atmosphere as soon as you walk in.
As a family, we were safe in the knowledge that Mum not only was having all her care needs met but, also that the care was delivered with love and dignity.
There
are many activities suitable for all residents and the staff encourage all to engage.
Mum often said that it was like being in a really posh hotel.
The staff are all amazing people. They are all wonderful with the residents and make them all feel so special
Although Mum is no longer with us we still feel part of the Branksome Heights family.
I can not thank them enough.

My mother became a resident of Branksome Heights Care Home in August 2021. After visiting several homes in the area it was apparent that Branksome Heights was by far the best option. She is very well looked after and treated with great dignity and care.
Staff in the home work very hard to maintain
the high standards of cleanliness which is apparent from the moment you enter the building. We are always greeted with a smile at reception and coffee and cakes are always available for visitors.
A full programme of activities are provided on a daily basis for residents. The food and menu choices are varied and are of high quality and always look appetising.
The manager of the home is very approachable and has monthly 'drop-in' meetings with relatives if required. Monthly coffee mornings are also held for residents' relatives to attend if they so wish. I feel very lucky to have my mother living at Branksome Heights and cannot recommend it highly enough.

From our first contact with Branksome Heights, through our intro visit, through admission in summer 2023 onwards, the staff at this care home have been great. They treat everyone with respect and dignity, have thoroughly managed my mother-in-law's medical liaisons etc. Each time we visit, we walk away
confident she is having great care, by a great team in a very nice home. Fully recommended.

Mum has been a resident for almost a year, and it has transformed her and our lives.
We are totally confident in Mum’s care, including daily engaging activities, and a high standard of catering. All staff are extremely pleasant and have formed positive relationships with Mum and ourselves. This has
culminated in allowing us to live our retirement confident that all of Mum’s needs are being fulfilled.

My mother has been a resident of Branksome Heights for almost 3 years. When I visit, I always find her looking neat, tidy, clean and comfortable. She has her fingernails and hair done regularly and receives foot care treatment when necessary. She enjoys her meals, and although she often finds it difficult
to feed herself, there is always a care attendant on hand to help her. Her room is light, warm and well-ventilated, with a nice view of trees.
In order to keep relatives up to date, the home sends out a weekly email listing upcoming activities and a regular newsletter. Also, very importantly, time is set aside for relatives to meet with the management.
I find all the members of staff to be friendly, responsive and accommodating and feel blessed to have my mother so well cared for.

My mum moved into the dementia floor of Branksome Heights in July this year. I had searched a few care homes in the area and nothing came close to Branksome. From the very first time I made contact, the service has been exceptional. When I came to visit for the first time, before moving Mum to Branksome,
I was given a guided tour and made to feel very welcome. It was so lovely to see such happy residents - at the time they had been making friendship bracelets. Since Mum has been there, I have been so impressed by the level of care she receives and the staff are simply amazing. I am particularly impressed by the compassion and patience of the carers too and absolutely love the way they encourage the residents to join in. I know I definitely made the right choice and I know Mum is very happy at Branksome. Thank you to all the staff for taking such great care of her!

Whenever we visit, we are made very welcome, areas visited are spotlessly clean. Some nice activities are offered to residents. The menus are amazing. Mom took a while to settle but we have no concerns with her care now, she's very happy and content. The staff are so friendly and approachable.

I can't praise Branksome Heights enough. My father was taken in as an emergency back in the summer of 2022. He was very resistant but needed support. He has settled in extremely well due to the kindness and care of all the staff at the home. The facilities are excellent. There are always activities
on offer, although my own father isn't a fan of joining in sadly. All in all the support the staff have provided both myself and my father has been great and I have comfort he is in safe hands.

A beautiful home in a welcoming setting with staff who show interest in, and compassion to, the people they care for.

Our mum recently moved to Branksome Heights Care Home after a few weeks in hospital. The team were so friendly and welcoming and did their utmost to encourage her to join in on the activities and enjoy mealtimes with residents.
Unfortunately, due to her poor health and frailty, she soon became bedridden
as she reached her end of life. All the relatives and visitors were made to feel extremely welcome and for the last five nights the manager arranged for a bed for us in the room and we were able to stay by our mum's side.
We were looked after so well, as if we were guests in a five-star hotel. We were offered tea, biscuits and sandwiches 24/7 and meals were prepared for us to eat in the room or dining area.
We were constantly checked on, nurses were brought in when necessary to administer medication and the care really exceeded my expectations. The staff genuinely care for residents, showed diligence, patience and understanding. We can't thank you enough! We highly recommend this facility.

We looked at many homes in Bournemouth for our mum but this one was exceptional right from the start. All the staff are amazing, kind and so helpful in every way possible. Residents' health and well-being are monitored day and night without fail. Daily activities are so well organized and a lot of fun
and Mum has enjoyed that very much. In the five weeks that Mum has been in her new forever home she has gained weight (after losing weight before she joined Branksome Heights due to illness). The meals are absolutely wonderful and so well presented and very nutritious. We are always welcomed every time we visit, whatever time of day that is. Great granddaughter loves it there. Meals are a very important part of life whatever age but this home surpasses all expectations. It is one round of meals, snacks and great fun. A very bright and exceptionally clean home with a beautiful outside area. The best.

Mum went in for two weeks of respite and has decided to stay. All the staff have been wonderful, helpful, caring and understanding. It really is home-from-home. On entering the home, it feels welcoming and pleasant. All staff seem to wear a 'smile'. The food is excellent, so too are the entertainments,
which the residents are encouraged to take part in.
I feel very happy knowing that Mum is being cared for in such a comfortable and happy atmosphere. Thank you all at Branksome Heights.

I bring with me 37 years of nursing experience, the last 18 of which have been in the Nursing Home sector, with the last 10 years as Clinical Lead. I have previously worked as a Ward Sister in a local Private Hospital in Women’s Health and as a Breast Care Advisor, helping patients from diagnosis to follow up.


I am very happy to have joined such a fantastic team as Clinical Lead of Nursing, and look forward to developing this new, and extremely valuable additional level of care to the home to compliment the already successful Dementia and Residential care.

Branksome Heights is only a short walk from my home and is in such a lovely area surrounded as it is by woods, and parks and close to the sea. I was delighted to join the team at Branksome Heights in July 2023 following studies for my Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity. Whilst studying I worked as an Administrator at the bank with the NHS. Everyone at Branksome Heights has been so welcoming and supportive, including the lovely residents. I started working in Hospitality/Reception and was delighted to be promoted to the role of Home Administrator. The Home is very beautiful with a warm friendly atmosphere and a special place to work. I am married with one small son, and in fact, my husband also works here at Branksome Heights as a Senior Night Support Worker. We both really enjoy working for Kingsley Healthcare and our work fits in so well with our family time too.
