Wonderful Home, they are doing an amazing job during the Coronavirus Outbreak, I couldn't be happier. The home is lovely and the garden big and has enough space for my sister to come out a bit and have a relaxing day.

Before Dad entered the home, we found staff to be very friendly. On entering the home Dad was made to feel at home straight away. Staff were on hand to assist him if he needed help, they treated him as if he had been there a long time.

I wish to thank the management and staff at Aranlaw House for caring for my aunt so well over the last 12 years. It was so clear to us on our visits to Aunt how everyone loved and cared for her and how much she was missed when she passed away. My husband and I also felt we were part of the Aranlaw family
when we came to visit, just as Aunt did. You made us so welcome and we have many fond memories of our trips down from North Yorkshire to see her. I really miss my daily telephone chats with Aunt and our friends at Aranlaw and will call in when we are next in Poole to say hello.

My dad has settled down very well here.
His room is very clean and homely.
It's been very good that he has been on a lot of trips outside as he always has liked going out and not being hemmed in.
The staff are very good with him and he seems to get on with them all.
Activities are good as well.
The
only thing I hear him say negative is that he doesn't always like the main meals but he never goes hungry.

Aranlaw has been amazing for mum. The staff are phenomenal - nothing is too much trouble They are kind, patient, caring, fun, happy... the list is endless. The food is tasty and varied. They keep mum stimulated every day with fun activities and trips out. She is lucky to be a resident and mums general
wellbeing and happiness has improved since she has been here. Thank you.

My husband came to Aranlaw 9 months ago having had a very traumatic stay at his previous home.
All the staff have invested time to get to know him and after a shaky start, he is now well settled.
He has his 'moments' but a robust care/support plan is in place to manage these.
We have a weekly outing
accompanied by a member of staff which is very enjoyable.
He is offered food and drinks regularly as well as at meal times after a visit I can go home with a smile knowing he is well cared for.

Since my husband has been at Aranlaw House he seems so well, and so much more alert. I notice the staff all seem very well trained and take their time with all of the residents. So much patience and definitely doesn't go unnoticed. The food is excellent - full marks to the chef. Cleanliness at Aranlaw

My father was formally diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2013. He has been a resident of Aranlaw since February 2017, after unsuccessful stays at two other Care Homes. The first could not accommodate his 'exploring'. The second was glossy and professionally run, but restrictive and regimented. Aranlaw strikes
just the right balance. It is a true home full of care.
We can call in at any time to visit, and all residents are treated with respect and affection. The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and it is heartwarming to see the staff interact with the residents. Aranlaw is always spotless and the food excellent.
My father is at the stage where he is unable to sit up. No problem at Aranlaw, a special chair was purchased for him which helps to support him. This means he is not bedbound and can join the other residents in the lounge, dining hall and outside. Thanks to Aaranlaw, his quality of life is the best it can be at this stage of the disease.

I am most impressed with facilities, staff and care at this home. My husband was very depressed and disorientated when he arrived, not to mention difficult and he is now very settled.

I visit a resident who formally attended my church in Yeovil. The lady I visit has nobody else in the world so she is very important to us. The care she receives has consistently impressed me, especially on unannounced visits. It is clear that they (the staff) treat her with dignity and love and the
evidence seen in her excellent appearance and overall wellbeing. I am very pleased with the care received.

The best home there could be with the best carers.
All staff are well trained and caring. Activities are outstanding. Nothing is ever too much. Food is brilliant. Residents can have anything they chose if they don't fancy the menu of the day.
