Chargrove Lawn is situated in a semi-rural location which offers stunning views over fields to Leckhampton Hill. Despite the countryside location, the home sits halfway between Cheltenham and Gloucester, close to local shops and, being only a mile away from Junction 11a of the M5 motorway, accessing the home is easy. The Home itself is a converted and enlarged country house with open plan living and dining areas creating a spacious feel, whilst a sun room and smaller sitting room offer more private spaces for quiet times, or personal visitors. There is also a hairdressing salon where residents gather to make 'hairdressing day' a truly social occasion. The large, colourful gardens have, for several years, won prizes in the 'Cheltenham in Bloom' competition and support a variety of wildlife - including a badger sett! Although the staff provide a varied range of activities and pastimes, this is a quieter home well suited to those who enjoy lovely locations and stunning views.

The care given to my cousin was exceptional. Staff were always attentive and kind, they listened to each and every resident and cared for their needs. We were welcomed every visit and were always offered a cup of tea and biscuit. We were kept up to date with my cousin's care when we visited. I am happy
to say that I felt that my cousin was safe and secure whilst staying at Chargrove Lawn.

We needed to find the older lady we looked after a nursing home. Chargrove Lawn was very close to her home. Her outlook from her room, onto the hills where she walked her beloved dogs, couldn't be bettered. The home never knew when we would visit and the care was second to none it was wonderful, right
up to the day she passed away. Staff always very pleasant and caring. I'm glad we made that choice. Spotlessly clean and never ever smelling of urine as many do. Also, very good food and also the lady was kept very clean and tidy and very cared for. What more could you want? Thank you.

My mother is very happy here. The staff are all very good and there is a weekly visit from the hairdresser. There is a programme of activities available and she enjoys some of these (maybe needs reminding or encouraging to try some more exercises). The building is looking much brighter after the recent
redecoration and this has also helped with the problems of reduced vision.
The only concern is about laundry and I understood measures are already being taken to improve this.
I feel confident that my mother is well-cared for.

My mother has been a resident at Chargrove Lawn for approximately one year. The service is very good and I feel at ease knowing my mother is safe and in the best place she can be. The communication from the home is good and I feel they go above and beyond.

On a fortnightly basis, I take clients from my place of work (Stonham Supported Accommodation) along with my dog and a client's Guinea Pig to visit the residents at Chargrove Lawn. It is lovely to see how much the staff care and cater for their residents and treat them with respect and dignity. The
home is always clean and tidy and the staff are always welcoming to us and the residents enjoy our visits and love the chance to pet the animals. Overall, the home is excellently managed, if only all care homes were so well run.
