As specialists in providing residential care, Beechwood provides a tailored, luxury experience to those needing care and support, but who also want to retain their independence and enjoy activities and the social aspects of life.

As a smaller, boutique home, staff have time to tend to the little things and get to know each resident as an individual. Their residential care specialism means residents are slightly more able and active than in nursing homes, providing a sense of community and enjoyment to all residents that wish to partake. At the same time, Beechwood aims to be a 'forever home' for residents, providing support to those who have joined and whose needs have increased over time.

Set in large, pleasant gardens, all rooms are ground level, en-suites that provides independence and high quality care to all residents.

Two sitting rooms and two conservatories allow residents to enjoy either a quiet period of reflection, to chat with their friends in the home, meet visitors or to participate in the wide range of activities on offer.

Staff treat residents as they would want their own mother or father to be treated. Socialising is especially important and residents are encouraged to join in on the daily activities, eat well, sleep well and make new friends. The home is very focused on helping its residents to recapture that sparkle for life. The staff too have been with the home for quite a while and take pride in not just being a care home but an extended family for all residents.

Longer-term residential care and also day-care are available. In day-care, individuals may choose to join the home during the day but go back to their own home during the night. Shorter visits are also available (for example coming for a couple of hours to join for a cup of tea and a bath) and joining in activities with the home's friendly little family.

My Dad has been a resident of Beechwood since December 2015 and has received excellent care throughout. The staff are friendly and caring and treat him with respect at all times.
My dad is completely happy at Beechwood and his general health is much improved since he has been there. The staff always
notice if he is not so well and are very quick to respond if he needs to see a doctor. The manager is always available and helpful, knows all the family and makes us feel very comfortable when visiting my Dad.

My mother has been in Beechwood House for 4 years and throughout all that time has received the highest quality of care. I have observed the carer to treat my mother with respect and patience at all times. The manager has been outstanding and there is good communication between us. My mother always
says she is very happy there and always looks relaxed and happy.

The care my father is given is superb. The staff are so helpful and the home is spotless lots of entertainment. I would recommend this home to any one after a hospital stay. It was described that it would be un-wise to send him home. We were only able to find Beechwood, someone must have smiled on us
a wonderful place.

We visited several homes before choosing Beechwood House, I liked the fact that it is light and airy with lovely accessible gardens and that you could smell home baking. My mother has settled well at Beechwood House and finds the staff very friendly. They do not seem to be so busy that they cannot stop
to chat with her. She loves the afternoon games and craft activities and also the monthly church service.
