Many thanks for your kind words; we are so glad that you are pleased with the care your mum receives at Greenhill House. We appreciate that making the move to a care home is not always easy, and will continue to do all we can to help your mum feel settled. We are looking forward to being able to run more day trips and events for our residents when restrictions allow, and in the meantime, we will make sure there are always plenty of activities on offer in the home.

Job Title: Registered Manager
I have worked for Somerset Care for 21 years, and have been based at Greenhill House since September 2018. As soon as I walked into Greenhill I knew I wanted to be there – it’s a lovely home with a really nice atmosphere in a brilliant location.
I love the everyday contact with residents that you get in a residential care setting. I can take a break from the office and spend time with our residents, and my door is always open to them if they fancy a chat.
The thing I love most about my job can also be the hardest part at times – the variety. No two days are ever the same! I can come into work with plans for the day which change as soon as I walk in the door, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have an extremely knowledgeable and caring team at Greenhill, and we are proud to have created a warm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for our residents and their visitors.
