The home politely ask that visitors avoid coming to the home if they are feeling unwell. All visits can be booked by calling the office. All visitors are expected to wear masks throughout their visit and to wash or sanitise hands on entering the building.

The staff take the residents out for visits to local coffee shops, out for meals and other fun activities to keep them entertained and their days interesting and while my grandmother doesn't always remember the days out, she seems very happy.

The greatest strength of the home is the quality of the staff who are invariably kind, understanding, patient and willing to listen. They do all they can to ensure that each resident is treated with respect and helped to achieve a really good quality of life. The food is of a high standard and visitors are always offered refreshments when they arrive. The management is excellent and it is always easy to speak to one of the team. Whatever the issue, they give you plenty of time and display a remarkable understanding of residents' needs and show a great sense of humour.
