As I live 6 hours away I find the staff always keep me informed about how my mother is. As she finds it difficult to hear they put the phone on loud speaker to make it easier for her to hear me. When we visit it is obvious that they have all got to know her and show a great deal of empathy towards her.
I dont worry about her being there as I know she is being well cared for.

The care and kindness shown to my husband have been outstanding. The home has also shown great kindness and understanding to me at a sad time i.e. my husband having to leave our home of 55 years because of his vascular dementia and other health problems and I being no longer able to look after him at
home.

Wyndham House became Mum's home from home. She was treated with the utmost care, compassion and dignity throughout her stay. The final duty of care on her passing was lovingly carried out. Thank you, everyone, from all the family.

We found the care home to be very friendly and welcoming. The staff were always there to help and assist with any care needs. My mother-in-law went in for respite and loved it so much that she chose to stay, having been so set against going in a care home. She was well looked after and had company,
which we feel made such a difference to her quality of life. Her room was very clean and fresh, she had plenty of room for her belongings and we felt happy knowing she was safe and cared for while we were away. An excellent care home with excellent staff who care, we can't speak more highly of them. Well done Wyndham House. Superb.

My husband's grandmother went to Wyndham House on an emergency respite admission.
The process went so smoothly and this was due to the excellent organisational skills of the manager and deputy manager.
The care staff couldn't have done more and were all so attentive and sensitive to our grandmother's
feelings and wellbeing.
When our grandmother was feeling particularly low, staff took the time to sit and encourage her to spend some time doing some activities that she enjoyed. For example gardening. The staff knew that she enjoyed this activity from the information gathered upon admission.
Her independence and dignity was always promoted which was very important to her. I would highly recommend Wyndham House, they are amazing!

The care I received during my 5-week stay was excellent. The facilities provided were like staying in a good hotel. The management and staff gave me all the care I required and were very supportive in helping me recover and get home. I can't thank them enough for what they have done for me. I highly

Good care. Activities were fun. Food very good and plenty of choices. They catered for my special diet - gluten and dairy-free. All beautifully cooked and prepared. The staff were very kind and helpful. The mattress was very hard; a mattress topper was provided which was softer but made the bed high.
I was here for a week and had a lovely holiday.

I hold Wyndham House in high regard. Their care is second to none. This is substantiated by having 3 residents of 100 years old. If I had any slight complaint, it is that I wish my aunt would be persuaded to leave her room and join in with activities. I feel she now has no mobility because they have
wheelchaired her around. I know she can be very stubborn, but I have voiced these concerns before and now I feel it is too late to mend this problem.

Wyndham House has over the last seven years provided excellent care for my elderly relative. She is happy there and states she never wants to leave. The staff has created a very homely atmosphere for their residents, which, together with activities and good food, means I know she is well looked after.
The staff also keep me fully informed of any changes in her condition.

Entry into Wyndham House is warm and welcoming. The staff are most delightful, and there is a spirit of co-operation and helpfulness. Management is effective with a soft touch. Not being purpose-built, the premises are not ideal in every aspect. Mealtimes could perhaps be better organised, but the food
is good and well presented.

Throughout the time our relative has been resident at Wyndham House her care has been wonderful. The staff have been unfailingly kind, cheerful and patient. We are very impressed by the range of ideas that the Wyndham House team have for making life lively and interesting for the residents. We have
had recent experience of two other care homes. Wyndham House is much the best.

Due to Covid 19, I have only been able to visit my wife once. I found staff very polite and helpful. On what I saw on my visit the home is excellent. The lunch my wife had was of a high standard. On occasion, when I have phoned the home the staff e.g. the manager has been most helpful. I very much like
the main door security and visitors book.

My father spent 3 weeks in respite care at Wyndham House in the summer, then 7 weeks end of life care in the autumn. He was well looked after at all times, with the staff able to provide compassionate care as his health deteriorated. The only problem I experienced was in lack of communication, occasionally,
between staff, especially when changing shifts.

When our elderly neighbour needed to go into a care home, I was pleased to recommend Wyndham House as I had visited the home on several occasions to visit a relative and found it to be welcoming and the staff helpful and friendly. Our neighbour was very pleased with his room and with his own chair and
personal belongings around him he felt at home.

My uncle spent a few weeks respite care in Wyndham House. During this stay, my uncle became unwell, the staff were kind, caring and compassionate, enabling him to get back on his feet.

As a regular visitor to the home, I am always impressed by the happy atmosphere in the whole building. Knowing by now the majority of the long term clients, I will be delighted to stop and chat to each and also to lead my monthly Sunday Service as do the other Churches. The staff are very friendly and
