Ferfoot Care Home is a sympathetically converted large family home built in 1902, and is located in the attractive market town of Chippenham, providing the highest standards of residential and residential dementia care for up to 52 elderly people. The home offers trial stays, short stays, convalescent care and long-term care for individuals or couples.

The dedicated care team works closely with residents and loved ones to provide the highest quality of specialist dementia care. The teams create a life story for each resident, helping to ensure that care and activities take into account each resident’s individual life experience, whilst care needs are always met.

This specialist approach enables the care team to support people with complex needs, assisted by the layout and concentration of the communal areas. The secure, enclosed garden provides a sense of peace and tranquillity and is open to residents and visitors at any time.

The home has an excellent reputation in the local area and maintains strong links with the community.

My husband has been in Ferfoot since January 2015. I have been very happy with everything at the home, it is a bright cheerful surrounding. The staff are excellent from the manager to the laundry ladies and cleaners, they can't do enough to make the residents have great care. The staff are always looking
out for the families and are always willing to help whenever they can. I go in most days and it is made easier by the welcome service. Keep up the good work.

My husband was in Ferfoot Care Home for 18 months. He had vascular dementia. The care that he received was excellent. The staff showed him kindness and understanding. They were also very very kind to myself and the family. Sadly my husband passed away on March 9th 2016.

Roxana is our Home Manager at Ferfoot Care Home, here’s a little bit more about herself and the home in her own words:


“As the Home Manager, I believe that our residents should be treated with the highest quality of care possible and endeavour to ensure that my team and I always maintain this. I lead by example and involve myself in the day-to-day life of the home as well as making Ferfoot a happy and enjoyable place in which to live and work. I take a lot of pleasure from spending time with relatives and residents, understanding the important contribution that these relationships make to the successful running of a care home.


I have over 15 years of experience in the care sector having worked in various roles including carer, senior carer and deputy manager, prior to then becoming home manager. All my roles have given me insight and knowledge which I draw upon each day and share with my team.


It is important to me to develop team members to achieve their best, which means that together we make a difference in the lives of each of the residents in our care.”
