Only a small care home. Everyone is treated was an individual and the carers know each person well. Very friendly care home. The carers act professionally and with care.

My father was only in this care home for 3 months. The care and love he received from the staff and management was second to none. I can only thank them for making his last month on this planet pleasant and happy for him. I would need to go into care, recommending Marlborough Lodge - you can feel the
love and care as soon as you walk in.

My mother moved here at the end of July 2023. To date, we have been impressed with the friendliness, politeness and professionalism of the staff at the home. On the occasions we have visited the home, the staff have made us feel welcome, we have been offered tea/coffee and the staff have taken the time
to chat with us and answer any questions we have had. The room is small, but my mother appears to have settled and we are thankful to the staff for this as she has had an unsettling time of recent.

Dad has been a resident in Marlborough Lodge for six years. My wife and I have been pleased with the care he has received and fed back from management when required. The last two years have been challenging for everyone, but the home has managed very well indeed.

Mum has been in the home for 8 years now. During COVID I have been unable to visit as often as I would like, but I didn't have to worry. I got regular updates and videos and she is always happy. That was my main concern - her happiness and of course, well-being. She couldn't be in better hands or a
better place.

Since my mum arrived at Marlborough Lodge 2 years ago we as a family have been very happy with the level of care she has received. The staff are very good with her and the other residents. Her physical and mental health needs have been well cared for and the fact that there have been no cases of Covid
at all at the care home has been very reassuring.

The team at Marlborough Lodge have been extremely kind and professional to my aunt on her transfer from hospital. She is currently mostly in bed and needs constant care and she has only good things to say about everyone in the home. They treat her with respect, dignity and kindness. Communication with
me is great. Place is spotlessly clean.

A truly wonderful place with exceptional care, tailored to the individual's needs. Marlborough Lodge has made a world of difference, in giving me the assurance that my dad is well looked after, when this was no longer possible to sustain within his own home environment. I am constantly kept informed
about his well-being and of any medical concerns and reassured by the fact that he is being cared for in a way that could not have been met by him living at home. He is treated as an individual with his own desires and interests, taken into account by all staff who go out of their way to cater for his individual personality. He is always clean and well cared for, with the excellent meals adding to his general well-being.

Management are very passionate and outstanding with care, taking time to understand residents needs, medication and listen to residents families. Working as a big team, all staff are outstanding in their own ways of care, bringing interaction and laughter, calmness and friendship, which reflect on the
residents. The home is not modern or plush, but is clean, fresh, light and airy. It has a relaxed happy feel with plenty of freedom for the residents to wander at the leisure inside and outside with no restrictions, with activities on hand. The bedrooms are clean with no restrictions for residents to have their own belongings. Visitors are made to feel welcome with management and staff giving updates on care and concerns. The chef's food is wholesome home cooked, colourful with excellent choices and lots of it. The puddings are fabulous! There are no 'chiefs and Indian's' only one big team, who make this home a special place. Highly recommend.

I cannot really say in words just how caring the people at Marlborough Lodge were to my father. My mother has been looking after my father, night and day for around three years now, and this gave her the opportunity to actually have a break, which is so very valuable as she is now 83. The staff were
excellent, and you got a real sense of kindness from them all. There is a lovely, homely feel to the place, which suited my father and as it is only 18 bedrooms so not too big and not too many people for him. The welcome was lovely as his name was on the door and they were all there ready to greet him. Its good to know this could be a respite option for my father for the future. Thank you!

The whole staff were welcoming and made my mother feel welcome and at home. Always greeted with a smile and offered a cup of tea. It was clean, the food was good. Very caring staff. Attention to detail was great.

My husband came here after 2 weeks in a larger hotel-like establishment. He has been made welcome and settled in quickly. The staff and management are brilliant, very keen to make us welcome. They have made every effort to understand my husband's needs and what he feels comfortable with. Emailed updates
during the first few days. For the first time in 4 years, I'm not worried about him.

The atmosphere in the home is warm and friendly. The staff are considerate, calming and gentle and thoughtful towards the people in their care.
It is wonderful to see the staff always approach everybody they are caring for with a smile and to see so many people smile back.
I know this warm, caring,
smiling attitude is fully supported by the owner and manager and has been for the two years I have been visiting my mother. The food is top class and the manager and staff and owner are always approachable and friendly.
