    These services are: Personal care, accommodation,
    utilities, use of communal areas, meals, drinks and

    Services NOT included in price are: dentistry, chiropody,
    physiotherapy, occupational therapy, opticians, hairdressing,
    medications, toiletries, clothing, newspapers/magazines.
    During your stay, you may need to purchase additional goods
    and services. If they are able to provide such goods and
    services, they will tell you how much these goods and services
    will cost and they expect that you will pay for these goods and
    services at the time you request them.
    They can accompany loved ones to private appointments,
    however the fee attached to this is £21 per hour. Where private taxi
    services are used for transportation to appointments the cost should
    be paid for by yourself.

My mum is in your care. I've seen her a few times since she's been there and each time she is being very well looked after. The room is very nice. All the staff are very caring and do a very good job. The food is of a high standard. The whole house and garden is in a good state. Clean and well looked
after a credit to all of your very good staff.

I just visited Seymour House in August 2019 and in that just visit I was most impressed. That impression has continued throughout my visits. The house is extremely homely, cosy and clean and the staff and care wonderful. I cannot fault it and would recommend it to anyone. It has a very friendly family
feel.

This home is bright, welcoming and a happy place. This can only be down to the staff who all seem happy, caring and enjoy what they do. My husband is happy, enjoys the company, the activities and the food.
I am very lucky that my husband has found a lovely home to live in.

My mother-in-law needed to go into care and the staff at Seymour House has made it very easy for us helping her to move from her flat into the home.
Nothing is too much trouble, the staff and there for us as well as my mother-in-law. It is early days but we are very pleased with the care and service
the staff have shown so far and I am sure will carry on in the future.

A lovely home with caring staff. I help with the activities and the residents really enjoy these. The gardens are beautiful and we use them as much as possible. Everyone is so happy here and we're all like a family because all of us care for each other. Overall, I really love the atmosphere here and

Seymour House is an excellent care home.
The management team work together to ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and their individual needs are met.
All carers are kind and caring and infinitely patient.
The home has a friendly, cosy, homely atmosphere from its house cat to the
high standards of the large lounge spaces.

I visited my grandmother recently and found the surroundings to be bright and modern. My granny seems happy which is comforting to see - she enjoyed a pamper session from myself and my mum. Granny has a large room that has two large windows, so she can see the trees and birds. Lovely place.

When visiting my friend on many occasions, I have always felt very welcome. The staff and manager are all very friendly and the home smells fresh and clean. The other residents all seem to be very happy. The activities co-ordinator is very very good and when they are on shift, the residents are all
very busy, as she has organised the activities well.

Wonderful welcome for my mum as new resident. Immediately included in a range of activities. Against all expectations, she's happier than she's been since Dad died. Staff are kind, happy and brilliant. Management responsive, helpful and brilliant! Lovely bright clean environment.

Whilst visiting my friend in Seymour House she had a fall on the way to the toilet. I was really impressed with the way staff dealt with assisting her and hoisting her into a chair. All staff were confident and professional whilst being kind and caring dealing with the situation. Lovely staff, lovely

My aunty and uncle are in Seymour House. It is a lovely home and that's just how it's run. It's their home. The atmosphere when you walk in is cosy and friendly. All staff are friendly and approachable - a very relaxed atmosphere. The care they receive is excellent, centred towards their individual
needs, so they all feel special, not numbers or uniformed. I hope when the time comes that I myself need a home, Seymour is still here as it is now, a 'home from home'!

My mother was in Seymour House for 18months until she passed away on 27th February with Vascular Dementia, she passed away in her sleep.
I cannot congratulate the staff and management enough, the home was always clean and tidy, the food was very good and all the staff helpful with half a dozen outstanding.
I could not thank them enough.

Victoria

Victoria Wallis

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2020

Victoria joined the Trust in March 2020, having worked in healthcare for over 25 years, and she has built lots of knowledge and experience in that time. Her passion has always been caring for the elderly.


Before becoming the Home Manager at Seymour House, Victoria was the Deputy Manager at Bourne House in Salisbury, and the Head of Care at The Cedars in Purton. Victoria has recently completed a Level 5 management qualification for health and social care. She likes working with the team, and the wider Trust community and feels supported by the company to do her role to the best of her ability.


Out of work, Victoria loves to travel. She is currently working on a project with her husband to convert a van into a campervan to make seeing more of the country easier. She is mum to two children.


Luan

Luan Mitchell

Job Title: Care Leader

Joined: 2013

Luan Mitchell has worked in the care sector for 8 years since April 2013, starting her career as a Housekeeper, then becoming a Carer.


From this position, Luan developed a real passion for elderly care and making a difference to those she cared for. Luan then progressed to become a Care Leader at Athelstan House. Gaining specific qualifications and training in residential and dementia care, she had a desire to progress further within the Trust.


Luan has now started in a new role as the Head of Care at Seymour House. Luan loves her new role and works with a very passionate and committed team. Luan is dedicated to ensuring the residents we care for receive the highest standard of care. In her role, Luan supports and supervises the care team to promote a person-centred approach and ensure residents wishes are respected. When not working, Luan enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as going on walks.


Hayley

Hayley Reeves

Job Title: Activities Co-Ordinator

Joined: 2013

Hayley joined the Trust in 2001 after previously working at Seymour House for Wilts Council. Hayley worked as a night carer for many years whilst her children were young and then switched to become an Activities Co-Ordinator around six years ago.


Hayley loves her job and also enjoys helping out with care shifts when she is needed.


Lauren

Lauren McGovern

Job Title: Administration Assistant

Joined: 2019

Lauren started with the Trust in April 2018, previously working at Hungerford House as the Activities Co-ordinator.
She worked in the care industry for over 8 years, starting in Chippenham Community Hospital as a Ward Clerk for 3 years, then started at a care home as an Administrator for 5 years.
She really enjoys working in the care sector as each day is different and she likes meeting lots of people with different personalities.
Lauren is a very outgoing, bubbly, laughable person who will do the upmost to help anyone!
