From the start Wren House provided for my family a sensitive, caring and professional service. The staff at all levels were cheerful and receptive to the smallest suggestion or observation. Care was taken to involve residents in activities and individual requests or needs were individually met. An unfortunate,
singular disciplinary matter concerning one member of staff was dealt with in an exemplary manner, albeit hindered by the slow process of police investigation. The home was always immaculately clean and fresh smelling. We were unequivocally satisfied.

Mt stepfather lived at Wren House for almost 5 years until dementia caused him to require more specialised care. Wren House is unique in its quality of care and the maintaining of high living standards. The house is elegant and well furnished and does not have the feel of a care nursing home. The staff
are like a family and care for the residents accommodating their changing needs, with real affection and professionalism. I cannot recommend Wren House highly enough as we had complete peace of mind and trust in his safety and happiness in his time.

This care home is excellent. The care is very thorough, kind and gentle. The staff are compassionate, respectful yet highly professional. The food is of the highest quality. The surroundings are maintained impeccably with high standards of cleanliness. The management is reliable and efficient with excellent
communications with relatives. I would not hesitate to recommend this care provider.

Wren House is always a joy to visit - the staff are always cheerful, polite, helpful and welcoming. The house has a permanent feel of well-being and kindness where each individual is treated as such; staff treating each one with respect and great care. The meals are served either in the beautiful dining
room or in the residents room. Appetites addressed and food always served carefully and presented beautifully. I have visited people in Wren House for many years. Residents and families love the house with all its caring staff - a very special place to be. Nothing it so much trouble for the staff and management at Wren House.

Wren House is a very much a home from home.


They offer outstanding care for my 93 year old mother who is very mobile but somewhat confused and forgetful. Residents are treated with utmost respect and courtesy at all times.


The staff are extremely caring, always welcoming, always approachable,

nothing is too much trouble. Activities and outings are arranged and residents encouraged to participate.


The rooms are large and residents are encouraged to furnish them with their own belongings. A very pleasant garden with seating is easily accessible for all to enjoy.


The food is excellent, everything home cooked every day. Breakfast served in the rooms. Lunch served for those that so wish in the dining room where the tables are laid with fine china and glasses and the food served just as this generation probably expect. After lunch coffee, served on individual trays, is always offered either in the lounge or in their rooms. Likewise individual trays of afternoon tea and homemade cake is served on bone china with silver teapots in their rooms or in the lounge. Supper is also served in the evening, any special requests can be catered for.


A highly recommended residential care home.

I am a mother of two and have a granddaughter, stepmother of two and four step-grandchildren. My family life is very busy but I have great support from my husband. My interests are rugby as my son plays the sport and course fishing to relax. I have been in the care sector for 15 years ranging from the acute setting of a hospital after being at university to gain my diploma in adult nursing to a senior carer at Wren House. I have been promoted at Wren House to the home manager which is a position that I enjoy as I am a very driven person and confident in all aspects of running the Home and my lovely residents.
