Rooms are lovely and clean. Staff are extremely friendly, always ready to listen and respond to suggestions if they can be met. Over the months I have seen excellent interaction with residents and my mum.
At least I can relax, having peace of mind, knowing my mum loves the staff and they love her.
Plus she is safe.
I would certainly recommend it to others.

Today had a reason to see the manager the issue I had was solved straight away no problem the manager is new there but runs the home with ease her door is always open for a chat or any worries you have well done

My husband spent almost three weeks at this home and has no regrets. He was treated properly and had peace and quiet time from home. Staff were ok, they treated my husband well. The food was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone. I say thanks to everyone that I came across.

My mum is happy at this care home but I do feel that the building is not looked after enough.
I was told that I shouldn't use one of the lifts as it keeps getting stuck with people inside it!
I also feel that there is a lack of stimulus for the residents. Not enough activities for them. For example,
in June 2024, there was no recognition of the D-Day 80th Anniversary, no bunting etc. How boring just to sit and watch TV all day!

I have had a friend in Holmpark for 2 years. Staff are friendly and helpful although they are very overstretched because the geography of this converted house makes it more difficult to cover all areas simultaneously than in a purpose-built care home. The home is clean and tidy and a number of activities
are organised from time to time. Residents' rooms are en suite and include sink drawers and cupboard space. There is a pleasant dining room and garden which residents can access safely. Residents can choose their own routines. Most have TVs in their rooms and can choose whether they come to the lounge and dining room for meals and refreshments or wish to be served in their own rooms. Where residents are still able, they can go out if accompanied. My friend always seems happy with the food at mealtimes and often during the afternoon, residents are given a good range of food and drink to choose from. To make e them feel at home, they can bring a few items to personalise the room.

Everything, everyone is very nice and caring to Mum, giving every day medication through the day, laundry after that and returning them to her room, cleaning her room every day, tidying her bed, tidying her room making sure she has lunch and dinner etc.

Everyone is welcoming and Mum is very well looked after. Her room is well-equipped and comfortable.
The staff are always so nice and friendly. Mum always says how nice the food is and she can always ask for anything extra (cakes, biscuits, etc). The staff check her regularly and take the time to make
sure she is ok.

This care home is awesome. From day one, my relative has felt at home and safe. The staff work as a team in the interest of the residents. I have also found them to be excellent at engaging and taking into consideration the needs of extended family members. The care home is spotless and actively encourages
residents to engage in pre-planned entertainment. I would certainly recommend.

My mother went into the home as she couldn't cope any more in her flat and found it difficult to do normal everyday things.
My mother has settled in well at the home and has been made welcome.
The staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable about their jobs.
I have been notified on several occasions
when Mom has had a few falls and other medical problems and the staff have always contacted me regarding these issues.
All in all, I am very pleased with the care Mom has received.

My mother moved in July 2023, she settled in very well. Staff are very friendly, and make you welcome as you arrive during the visit. The carers work very hard and have lots of patience. My brother and I are impressed with the care home the only thing we are not happy with is her clothes, sometimes
items go missing. Also, she has items of someone else's clothing. Including Men's pants! Overall we are pleased with the care Mum is having.

My grandmother is not looked after very well. She was put in this home to prevent her from having falls at home. She has since had falls at the home. New clothing and other items bought in for her are always missing and staff members can never seem to find them. She is diabetic and they are giving her
far too much sugary foods. She keeps being given other resident's dirty stained underwear even though new fresh underwear has been provided for her. The care and attention to detail for each individual service user is shocking and almost non-existent. Worst decision ever allowing her to be in a place like this.

I came to visit my Aunt who has been at the Home for past few years, it had been some time since I was last able to visit and I spent a lovely time at the Home. I observed the staff being very caring and warm to not only my Aunt but the other Residents also. The staff team came across happy in their
job. There was fun activities for the Coronation on and all the other Residents looked happy and were joining in.
My Aunt presented as very well and she looked healthy too.
I have always found staff and Management approachable and responsive.

The staff at Holmpark are amazing, they have great patience and have always kept my mum immaculately clean, and they make visitors feel welcome and included. Mum increased weight, due to the good food and enjoyed the regular cups of tea and the tasty cakes. The medical care Mum receives is of a high
standard. The room is very pleasant and clean, and mums clothes are always clean and ironed. Mum has been taken out on shopping trips with the staff, and thoroughly enjoyed being able to spend some money! I am kept well informed with Mum's health care. Staff also take time to spend some one to one time with mum, and varnish her nails whilst they are talking to her and my mum always liked having nice nails. I have been very impressed with every aspect of the care offered at Holmpark.

Had been unable to visit my Uncle for some time due to Covid and living abroad and had concerns due to the long period of time since I had visited.
On coming to visit I found staff very friendly and welcoming. My uncle looked healthier and happier than he was over 2 years ago, this was such a relief.

The Home has had some works done and is very well presented. I was there at lunch time and the food was very nice and appetizing. I spoke with the Managers and Admin who were very approachable.
