An amazing team of staff who go above and beyond job roles. The rooms are bright and spacious. Very welcoming and reassuring environment for both residents and relatives.

The smell of urine is always in the room on every visit.
The bathroom is very dirty.
Bathroom tap is loose and needs tightening.
No activities (exercise).

I was satisfied with the care provided for my father. He is 95 years of age and suffering with dementia so he did need regular attention, guidance and prompting. The staff were keen to do their best in a particularly demanding environment.


There always seemed adequate numbers of staff available

particularly in the resident's lounge and communal areas. The general cleanliness of the building was good and the quality of the food and beverages perfectly acceptable. All in all good value for money.

From the moment my father arrived at this facility, I was impressed with the staff and the way they treated him and my family. They cared for him and always made us feel welcome. We were greeted warmly whenever we visited. They got to know my father very well and we were all sad when he had to leave
the home. The staff there work extremely hard under sometimes difficult circumstances. They are a credit to your company.

My mother has been a resident at Holmpark for 6 years in which time her condition, vascular dementia, has deteriorated, but her care at Holmpark has been of the highest calibre. Nobody could fault the care, compassion and empathy displayed by every member of staff. One example; my mother suffered a
seizure and was taken to the hospital, a member of staff always goes with her and waits until I can get to her. This last occasion I was 4 hours drive away and a carer went to relieve the person who had gone to the hospital, AFTER her shift had finished, waited until I arrived so mam wouldn't be alone.
