We are very pleased with the way that mum is cared for by the home's staff. She has been there for a year and is well settled. Any time she has had an issue (only ever minor) it has been dealt with quickly and to mum's satisfaction. Her needs and limitations are so well known by the staff that they
take every opportunity to ensure she is provided with what she likes and is made to feel that she can take part in activities. We are so pleased that mum made the decision to move to Lucton.

We're delighted with the care being provided for mum at Lucton House. The staff could not be more helpful and are extremely kind. Mum has settled in well since arriving in late December. The management team are professional, hard-working, and friendly, which sets the tone for the warm and supportive
environment which is fostered there. It's obvious to me, having watched the managers and carers interact with residents, that they genuinely care about and have a strong bond with the people who live there. It’s lovely to see, making the decision to move mum to residential care so much easier. Mum has her own flat, with lounge, kitchen, and bedroom, which is clean, spacious, and relaxing. The facilities are excellent: there’s a dining room, lounge, hairdressing salon, and bar, with activities every day. Mum’s loving the food, despite eating little at home! When I say goodbye, it’s like leaving her with family. What greater compliment can you pay a care home? Thanks, Lucton House, for everything!

On the whole very pleased. A bit disappointed with the nursing as my husband came home and his catheter was not in correctly, and he was in a great deal of pain until it was corrected by our nurse.

The care and support that all the staff have shown my mum has been amazing, even when she has been aggressive. I cannot thank them enough for all they do for her and us as a family. All staff are incredible, kind and a great team.

I find Lucton House deal with the current situation very efficiently. I just find it so sad to have only one visit per week to my mother, as I think it has had a detrimental effect on her dementia, but realise it has to be within the rules! I think the whole situation as regards residential homes should
have been dealt with much more empathy by the Government.

My first impressions of Lucton was reassuring being greeted by staff who were positive, pleasant and helpful when we needed that most. It was upsetting that the lockdown happened when Mum had been in Lucton for just 2 weeks, but we had good advice and positive feedback when we were so needing it. The
staff are just how you would like them to be and have been so positive throughout these challenging times.

Lucton House has been wonderful in their care and attention to residents needs. They provide a lot of activities and try to make Lucton a home from home. Throughout the time my mother has been at Lucton House, the care has been excellent. It has been hard for Mum to adjust, but the staff have been extremely kind to her and me. They have obviously had a very hard time lately with the pandemic, and I think they have coped amazingly well.

As my uncle has only been at Lucton House just over one week, it is difficult to give a balanced view of the home. So far I feel it's a good environment even though my uncle is having difficulties adapting to care home life.

We have been so pleased with the way that Lucton House has dealt with the covid19 situation. Mom has been kept safe and well throughout this time. There have been plenty of activities for her, and she is happy. Regular photos have been put on Facebook so that we can see what she is doing and that all
is well. We have not worried about her at all and are grateful for the love and care that has been shown to her.

Myself and my sister are happy with the care Lucton House staff give to my sister. I feel I can approach staff with any worries we have both had with recent times. Lucton House are meeting all my sister's needs with regards to her personal hygiene and mental needs.

My aunt is well cared for at Lucton House, in both physical and mental health way.
She recently had to spend a few days in hospital following her fall and the welcome she received upon her return from both the manager and assistant manager made her feel wanted.
Like many care homes, staffing can
fluctuate and I know she has felt that a certain member of staff's move to another care home has left her a little bereft as she had a good relationship with him.
