I very much appreciate the care and attention given to my aunt. We know only too well that my aunt can be difficult (due to her history of being in care for most of her life) but the home has been very tolerant and caring during all of that time. We have had our challenges with my aunt, it seems a long
list but the home through patience and understanding has resolved the issues, sure there are some still outstanding but we will get there. I used to visit regularly but have recently been ill and have not been able to visit personally but have kept in regular contact. In spite of that, I have full confidence in the home in the care of my aunt.

Finding the right care home for a loved one is daunting, particularly when they are fiercely independent-even though they're ninety!
When I read about Manor House, my arms tingled, a visit confirmed that this was the right place for my mother.
The team are exceptional. Each and every one of them will
do whatever is necessary to ensure the well-being of those in their care. At the same time, they encourage residents to be as independent as possible, gently supporting them when necessary. All this with smiles.
The management team are excellent, keeping families well informed and chasing support services when necessary.
All I can do is say a huge thank you to everyone. My mother couldn't be in a better place.

Caring and compassionate staff who look after Mom.
Rooms are clean and tidy.
Everyone that works there is really helpful, and I'm always kept up to date with Mom's medication and well-being.

Superb care 24 hours per day. Plenty of activities for residents and families to do and join in. Good food, accommodation and very caring staff. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a care home for their family member.

The standard of care at Manor House is second to none and the teamwork is excellent. The management team is always there to support you with any questions or concerns. It's nice here because when the nurses come in they have a natter with me. I like going to do the activities. The food is wonderful. We laugh quite a lot. Staff are respectful. I feel at home in my room, I have my own things around me. Nurses come in often to check on me. My tablets are given to me
when I need them. Other residents are nice to talk to and I have made some new friends here. I am happy here.

Manor House Care Home is a welcoming home, Mom has settled really well. Staff are friendly and always cheerful. I am kept up to date with Mom's care and professionalism. There are plenty of activities for Mom and she is always encouraged to take part. Staff make family feel incredibly welcome and involve
us in activities and events. Staff treat Mom with respect and they are always considerate of Mom's needs. Mom is safe.

The Manor House Care Home is a credit to Gold Care Homes. Ever since my mother came to the home, she has been treated with dignity and respect and I will say, love, from the staff at the manor. Mom was a lonely lady after the death of my father and she lost her way. With the home's support, she now

My aunt lived at the Manor House Care home for 18 years until she was nearly 99 years old.
Throughout this time she has always been well cared for and extremely happy here. As she had no family living nearby, many of the staff became like family to her. She enjoyed their company and joined in with
many of the activities provided.
Even when she was very old and frail and could barely leave her room, she continued to receive excellent care at all times, and the staff kept her distant family in the picture at all times.
Thank you to all the Manor House staff for the wonderful work you do, you are much appreciated.

I can't speak for other people but I am very satisfied with my care and accommodation. I can't praise the staff enough for the care they give me. I enjoy all the activities and the staff work hard to get everyone involved. The food is delicious and always freshly prepared. The managers are very understanding
and approachable, and my room is warm and comfortable. Personally I can't speak highly enough of Manor House.

After 3 or 4 visits to visit a friend, I am very impressed with the overall decoration, tidiness, cleanliness and staff services, friendliness and performances. I wonder if residents are helped with food if they are unable to feed themselves, but am sure this is regularly addressed.

Mom has been a resident for just over a year. She was very poorly when she arrived but with the love, care and attention the lovely staff have given her I am now looking forward to our day trips out when the weather gets warmer.
She feels safe, loves having the company of the staff and enjoys taking
part in all the activities they provide. She is treated with dignity and respect and they have a genuine affection for Mom which is lovely to see.
Mom's flat is a real home from home, always warm and very comfortable, giving her the right level of independence, care and company.
Mom is very happy here and I cannot thank the staff enough for their hard work and commitment to ensuring Mom is happy and cared for.

My mom is a resident here at Manor House. Mom arrived at Manor House June 202. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Mom is well looked after even though she does not want to leave her room. The home is clean modern and the rooms are more than adequate. Looking forward to the summer

It has not been easy due to covid restrictions but I know the staff worked really hard to keep all the residents and themselves safe.

A brilliantly patient team. Very caring and understanding staff. I know that my aunt is in good hands and that she is safe at all times.
She can be trying at times but they are great with her.
This is the second member of my family who has experienced the excellent care provided by Manor House.

My aunt has been a resident at Manor House for over 5 years now and has just celebrated her 90th birthday. At first, she was reluctant to leave her own home but if you asked her today she would say, I wish I had come to live here sooner.


She feels safe and loved. She is provided with the right amount

of independence to ensure she feels valued and listened to. She is treated with dignity and respect by all of the staff, and they hold a genuine affection for her. It is evident that the service they provide is based on good values and principles.


Manor House’s jewel in the crown without a doubt is their exceptionally committed staff and I have always found them to be genuine, authentic, caring and accommodating.


A huge thank you to all the staff at Manor House for caring and loving my aunt as much as you do.
