I would like to sincerely thank all members of staff for their kindness and exceptional genuine care they showed to my father during his rehabilitation stay at The Perry Tree Centre on behalf of my father myself and family thank you.

Mom was sent to the Rehabilitation Unit from the hospital - staff there were brilliant with Mom, they treated her with respect and nothing was too much trouble for them. Mom enjoyed the meals. Thank you to all the carers and physio's that looked after Mom. Mom was discharged last Friday after 2 weeks
in there.

My mother arrived at Perry Tree for rehabilitation after surgery. I am very sorry to say that little was done for her. In the fairly lengthily period she was there she saw a physio once and assistants a few times. Mostly she sat in a chair or lay on her bed. When she left Perry Tree her walking
had not progressed at all. Thanks to six visits from the early intervention team, she is now able to walk, assisted only by a frame, across her bedroom from her bed to her chair.
The issue of using the toilet also needs to be mentioned. My mother had long waits of 30 minutes before she was taken to the toilet using a molift.
Perry Tree is also very difficult to contact by phone. There were days when I could not get an answer at all.
It really does grieve me to write about Perry Tree in this way. I believe deeply in the concept of the NHS and I know that it is underfunded and understaffed - but it seems that, for most of the time, my mother did very little other than sit in her chair.

My mom has been here for a few weeks, slowly recovering from a knee replacement. We are so grateful to all the wonderful staff and physiotherapists for their care. It’s very difficult with limited visiting, but I know she is in good hands and hopefully will be home soon. The reason I mark activities
as satisfactory is only because of recent limitations on her physio at weekends and maybe, at times, not enough nursing staff available to mobilise her more because they are so busy.

I've given a 1 star as it won't let me select 0 star which is what I would select as this centre is horrendous and inhumane.
My mom was sent there in November last year, after a short stay in hospital to have some rehabilitation which they did NOT do any with her
Mom was there for 5 days in total
before she was very quickly discharged as they had an outbreak of COVID and no, they did not test mom before she left. So yes, once mom came home she was very ill because she caught covid in there and was rushed back to hospital and developed illnesses as a backlash of the Covid, the Dr told me.
Whilst mom was in there, one night she asked the nurse to take her to the toilet for a no 2. The nurse told her she couldn't because there was no other member of staff to help her, disgraceful. Then she told mom you'll have to do it in your pad and left mom's room. Mom called me really upset and I had to call the manager to report the nurse. I was disgusted. The social worker was useless and had no compassion at all.

My mum has been at Perry Trees Care Home for just over a week, and we couldn’t be more delighted with how well mum has settled, in particular, in these difficult Covid times. All the staff please take a bow! Your devoted care has enabled Mum to feel welcome and cherished in what could have been a very
difficult week.
