Anchor’s Tandy Court, in King's Heath, is a purpose-built home supporting up to 40 older people to live a comfortable lifestyle, as well as specialising in dementia care. It is located conveniently close to local shops and within reach of the centre of Birmingham.

The home benefits from a courtyard area, which has a post office, general store and greengrocers for the enjoyment of residents and their visitors. The home continues to welcome new residents and provides a range of residential care services, including long term care for those who require 24-hour care.

Customers can participate in stimulating activities in the home and community which are designed to suit individual interests, needs and abilities.

Those at the home enjoy freshly cooked meals, which are made using locally sourced ingredients where possible.

Tandy Court is operated by Anchor. They are England's largest provider of housing and care for older people on a not-for-profit basis.

I had to find a care home for my mother rather quickly and with the help of social services, Anchor Care Homes gave her the opportunity to take a place with them.
All the management and team at Tandy Court were excellent in both showing us around and finally helping my mom settle into her new environment
and way of living.

My mum has been here for five weeks and I have already seen a difference in her. She seems happy and has settled in well, has even made a few friends and enjoys the activities. Staff are friendly, caring and respond quickly to any concerns, all areas are kept clean, food is good and I have peace of

Staff are helpful and listen to any concerns you may have.
Lovely environment and lots of thought has gone into the homely feel of the rooms. Food is excellent and that goes for choice and cooking. My other sister and myself would love to move in!

Well adapted and professional care home especially for dementia service users. Helpful and excellent care provided for my mother. Very clean and maintained flats. Staff and management always on hand to support and meet any assistance required. My mother has settled in so first thanks to all the staff
taking good care of her and very hospitable when we, as a family, visit, always.

I came here on 10th October 2012, having been resident at another home which has closed down.
I soon settled down happily here. The care I received and still do is excellent. The management and all staff are very caring and if I have any problems, I can always discuss them with the staff.

Finding a suitable care home for a loved one is a difficult talk. It's hard to judge until a person is actually living there. But thanks to the genuinely caring staff, my dad settled in quickly. They were patient, respectful and kind to him and helpful to me whenever I had queries or concerns. This
is why I would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff who looked after my dad and to recommend Tandy Court to hopefully help any family about to start the journey we have been on.

When my husband first came to Tandy Court I was worried all the time that was December 2016, but we are in our third month and no need to worry the carers and all the other staff are lovely and when I say carers that's what they are always there to answer any of your questions overall what a lovely
fantastic place Tandy Court is. I cannot fault the place of the staff. Thank you so much for taking care of my husband.
