The home has a well-being coordinator who is working hard to provide social stimulation to our residents whilst social distancing. As you have currently raised this with us, the Area Quality Director will visit the home to complete a further review and to assist the home in improving communication.

Thank you for raising your concern as this enables us to drive forward improvements. We regularly review our staffing requirements based on the dependency and clinical need for our residents. As you have currently raised this with us, the Area Quality Director will visit the home to complete a further review. We currently have sickness within the wellbeing team and therefore will review how we can increase the activities within the home during this time. Nail care will be discussed with all our team to ensure this level of care is provided

Having worked in care since she was 17 years old, Tina Booton, has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and support to elderly people, to enrich their lives.
Tina specialises in dementia care and has worked with Dementia Care Matters and the Alzheimer's Society. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Tina closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Victoria Manor.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Tina remarked:
“Trying to make a difference for the better, for the people and the home.”
Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending her time as a brownie leader and has run the unit for 25 years now.
