My Nan has been at The Willows for nearly 5 years now and I’m very happy with her care there. The staff has always been attentive, kind, and caring with sincerity. Additionally, with me being the only member of my family taking care of things for my Nan and looking out for her best interests, I have
found them all to be an immense support to myself as well. The current management team is fantastic and I really cannot fault them. My Nan’s level of dementia throughout her time has worsened, as is natural with this disease, and in no way due to the quality of care given. The team has always done the best for her during every single stage of her dementia. I highly recommend The Willows and the care team. I give my utmost thanks for everything that they do for my Nan, the other residents, and the relatives of residents.

The care for my mum was excellent. The carers always made sure she was comfortable and well looked after. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
Not only were they lovely to my mum but they continued to support my dad and myself right up to her passing away.
I would recommend The Willows to anyone looking
for care for a loved one.

I recently visited my great-nan at The Willows Care Home, where she has been a resident for the last few months. I don’t travel to the UK as often as I’d like and thus have not seen my grand-nan since prior to Covid. Since then, she had deteriorated substantially with dementia. Whilst this was extremely
difficult to see during my visit to Coventry, I was impressed with the way The Willows staff cared for her needs. They were patient and considerate when providing assistance to her and more than welcoming to myself and my aunt who visited the home with me. We even stayed for lunch and got fed some homemade fish and chips.
Overall, pleased to see she is in a place like The Willows, being well cared for.

My Aunt has been a resident at The Willows for the past several months, and I have been consistently impressed with the level of care and attention that they receive.
From the moment we first toured the facility, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and
knowledgeable, and they made a point to get to know my aunt and her unique needs and preferences.
One thing that has really stood out to me is the sense of community at The Willows Care home. It is clear that the staff go out of their way to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels at home.
Overall, I cannot recommend The Willows Care home highly enough! If you are looking for a safe, supportive, and truly caring environment for your loved one, this is the place to be. The staff are exceptional, the facilities are top-notch, and the sense of community is truly special. I feel incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful place for my aunt to call home.

I can't express enough thanks to the staff at The Willows for the wonderful care they provided my grandmother during her stay. From the moment she arrived, they went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and at home. The facilities were always clean and well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly
attentive to her every need.
They always made sure she had a comfortable bed to sleep in and provided her with delicious, healthy food that she enjoyed. They scheduled activities that matched her interests and abilities, which kept her engaged and allowed her to build new relationships with other residents.
Importantly, every interaction with the staff was a positive one, which helped put our minds at ease knowing that my grandmother was being cared for by caring, kind, and compassionate people. I feel so grateful that my grandmother was able to spend her final months in such a loving and nurturing environment.
I would highly recommend The Willows to anyone. Thank you

Had a great experience with The Willows when my aunt was here on respite for a couple of months. They were very professional and made sure to keep her gluten requirements at the forefront of her care - this was something we were very worried about with putting her in care for the month.

Overall, they’ve been pretty good. During the lockdown, they made sure that Mum and I spoke very frequently and even asked me to come for window visits when she was feeling down. Mum seems a lot better in the home vs when we had carers coming round to assist her. She seems to enjoy the activities they
do in the lounge.

The manager of the home was very good. She allowed me to drop off food for my father-in-law every day during the lockdown as he has very strict dietary requirements and only likes our ethnic food. I think that care is hard to find in homes now.

My sister has been at The Willows for some time, and I’ve been very happy with the care she’s received. The family was very sad when we couldn’t visit her at Christmas, but this wasn’t The Willows fault. I’m overall pleased with everything.

I’ve not dealt with the home much previously as my brother took care of my mum's placement. He’s moved now, and I’ve taken this responsibility over, and I was very pleasantly surprised with how helpful they can be. I’m not a big fan of one lady, but I’ve heard she’s no longer working there. The new
manager is great though. She helped us have Mum moved downstairs due to her legs no longer functioning as they used to. I live in Birmingham, so I wasn’t able to do the window visits during the lockdown, which they were aware of. Since last week, I have since received three calls from them asking me to book a visit to see Mum. It was nice to see how much they care that Mum interacts with her family.

My Nan has been at The Willows for a couple of years now. The staff are very caring and take good care of her. She is definitely getting worse as time goes on, but the team at The Willows keep catering to her needs. Can’t really ask for much more from a service!

Every time I come to the home the staff are always very welcoming and supportive of my friend. Everyone is well dressed and the meals are lovely - like a 5* hotel. I am always saying what an excellent home The Willows is and would recommend it to anyone who is put in a position where they can no longer
cope with the illness of a loved on. Very pleased.

My father has been a resident at The Willows for 18 months. He has settled in completely and loves the 'banter' with the staff. The home has a great 'home from home' feeling and I am totally happy with my Dad's care at The Willows.

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.479)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.479) out of 10 for The Willows is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.5 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.941 for The Willows is calculated as follows: ( (65 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 68 Ratings = 4.941

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.538 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for The Willows is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 32 registered maximum number of service users is 6.4. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 6.4 = 0.938

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
