Avondale took care of my mother for 6 months. She had late stage dementia. I cannot praise and thank the staff enough, very kind, patient and considerate in every manner possible. Avondale may not have the ‘best carpet and curtains’ but the care they took of my mother was truly uplifting for myself
and my elderly father. It’s the people that count and you will not find better.

My mother has been living in Avondale residential home from April 2014 to present day.
Myself and my sister visited several homes before finding Avondale. The first impression we had was a very homely atmosphere and friendly staff.
Whilst mom has been there she had a number of illnesses which the
staff were quick to respond to and appropriate action was taken.
Her safety has always been paramount to the staff and management and equipment for her needs were quickly supplied.
The staff and management have always been friendly and welcoming.
They have listened to any concerns we have had about moms health and been supportive to the whole family.
We couldn't have wished for better environment for mom to spend the rest of her years in.
