Your Dad has full capacity and knows his own mind. He has dressings to both legs which the district nurses tend to daily. We do have a facility to shower him (and protect the dressings) if requested. However, at present, your dad is choosing to remain in his room and prefers a full body wash daily. Prior to this, he was happy to sit in the communal areas. However is more than happy with his own company in his room with his TV. All requests adhere to him. We do have other residents who do have a shower daily.

Stimulation and keeping contact with family is key.
COVID-19 has been very challenging and trying for all. We will strive to ensure families, residents and staff remain safe during this unprecedented time. We plan to follow all guidelines and hopefully reinstate our full activity program when deemed safe. In the meantime, we actively encourage families to keep in contact with their loved ones via various forms of communication.,

We appreciate that a full review is difficult during the COVID pandemic. Restrictions are in place to ensure our staff and residents are protected. Therefore we have been unable to provide the external entertainment as previously.
We have booked external entertainment to take place on the 16th July which will take place in our large garden, (weather permitting) Family are invited to attend (observing the social distancing) and enjoy a BBQ.
When safe to do so, we will resume our scheduled activity programme.
