The resident has spent over two and a half years at Pelsall Hall and I have been so pleased with her care.
It has been compassionate, professional and they have cared for her every need.
Her end of life care was excellent and I knew she was in safe hands.
They not only provided personal care but
signposted to GP/District Nurses as necessary.
Would highly recommend to other potential residents.

I have visited my partner at Pelsall Hall several times a week for the last 5 years. I have always found the caring attitude of the staff to be exemplary and unwavering. The homely and friendly atmosphere is immediately apparent. It is very reassuring to know that one's loved one is in safe hands. Keep
up the good work.

The staff were always pleasant and helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they worked well in their teams regardless of which members of staff were on duty at any one time. As a daily visitor, I did not leave my own home wondering what to expect on arrival at Pelsall Hall and did not have
concerns or worries on departing at the end of my stay.
I was extremely pleased with the standard of care and attention that my wife received at Pelsall Hall and has done since her admission almost a year ago and I have no hesitation in recommending this home to anyone in need of social care.

A friend of mine had been at Pelsall Hall for several years but recently passed away - I just wanted to say how grateful I was that he was cared for with the utmost dignity and respect right up to the last minute.
Staff could not have made his last years any happier and it was clear that he was 'loved'
Management
and staff are second to none and I will always remember Pelsall Hall as an excellent place, managed by real professionals who make it clear that residents are the priority - Staff extremely caring and nothing is too much trouble
The environment is like a 5* hotel, beautiful bedrooms etc.
I would recommend anyone looking for a care home visit Pelsall Hall.

We visited the home and from the minute we walked in, we could tell how good it was going to be. The feelings we had were:
Staff were friendly, kind and helpful. So clean. Felt like we were entering a quality hotel on holiday. The Manager was so supportive and informative. Such a warm, friendly feeling
about the place. My uncle is so excited about living here.
There were good layouts in the communal areas so residents could interact with each other.

My mother has become a recent resident at Pelsall Hall. I cannot speak highly enough of the outstanding care and kindness that she has been shown at this time. From the management team through to all the staff my family has been treated with great respect and compassion. The care that my mother has
received has been exceptional and delivered in a completely profession and caring way. The Home itself is clean and well presented and I am delighted with the standard of my mother's room. My mother has settled well and this is a tribute to the attention of the staff.

I would unhesitatingly recommend Pelsall Hall.

My Aunty was admitted to Pelsall Hall in May 2010. Sadly she passed away in April this year. During her stay at Pelsall Hall she was made most comfortable. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, not only to her but also to ourselves. She was always well looked after to the highest standard. We
had no reservations that her needs were well attended to and I will always be forever grateful.

Pelsall Hall is a wonderful, caring and very homely place. From our first initial contact with Pelsall Hall just over 2 years ago, we knew this was the best place our mom could be. We have experienced lots of happy moments at the home with mom- there is always lots of family events going on. I.e. Christmas
shows, singers, animal visits, musical events, summer fair and bonfire night display. Everyone is always welcome. The care mom receives is fantastic and the attention shown by the staff to mom and all the other residents is genuine and comforting to see. After a spell in hospital in January 2016 we were so glad to be able to bring mom back home to Pelsall Hall where we know she is safe and well looked after.

Pelsall Hall is to sum up in one word is "Brilliant" my father came here nine weeks ago. It is a great relief to know my father is here knowing, how well he is here. The home is spotless, the food great, great room always clean and tidy. When I see dad, he seems to improve on every visit looking calm
and relaxed. He is very well groomed and looks great! I think it is very important to know how good the staff are here, very kind, caring and helpful. As a family and on behalf of my dad "Thank you".

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.824)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.824) out of 10 for Pelsall Hall is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.924 for Pelsall Hall is calculated as follows: ( (98 Excellents x 5) + (6 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 105 Ratings = 4.924

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.9 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Pelsall Hall is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 41 registered maximum number of service users is 8.2, which has been reached with 9 Positive reviews. Points = 1

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
