Thank you for your kind feedback on the care provided to your mother. We're delighted it meets your expectations. We recognise our home's unique character due to its original design, which we feel adds warmth and avoids a clinical atmosphere. Currently, we're excited about updating some areas, including two lounges, and the garden enhancement is now complete. Our staff prioritises meaningful interactions with residents but also respects family time during visits. We offer daily activities to enrich our residents' lives, and we invite you to review the schedule in the dining room on your next visit. Participation is always optional. We're also transitioning to a new head chef and looking forward to introducing an updated menu soon. Hi, thank you for your review, we do have regular activities however I can understand why you would think there aren't any as they do tend to happen on a morning when the residents are more receptive. we currently have Tai Chi once a month, chair exercises every 2 weeks, and exercise with Joab every 2 weeks, hand and nail care done weekly. Along with activities completed by care staff and RITA which is situated in the visitor's lounge, we do have a singer/ entertainer when budget permits, unfortunately, your aunt doesn't like to take part in the majority of activities and prefers to have a conversation with the staff and others.
