The care and consideration given to my dad since moving into Sunrise has been wonderful. All the staff I come into contact with know him well, and I feel confident he is well cared for. There has also been good communication between Sunrise and myself from the day he moved in and I know they often go
above and beyond to accommodate some of his demands and for that, I thank the whole team.

Nan has settled in really well and her health and well being has improved massively since moving into Sunrise of Tettenhall she moved in in a wheelchair but is now walking independently with a frame. As a family we are really pleased with the care she receives and it has taken a lot of the stress out
of our lives.

Very friendly staff, always seem happy in their work, my friend speaks very highly of her care, she receives a high care package. The only disappointing thing is the quality of the food, which we discuss regularly.

Sunrise concierge staff are always very welcoming and helpful. Parents are very well looked after kept clean. The care assistants work extremely hard in caring for my parent's personal needs and are most attentive at all times. All times the response to the personal alarm could be quicker. Breakfast
is very satisfying but the lunch and dinners need to be improved.

Night urine bag left unemptied in bathroom all day - only emptied after several reminders (this happened several times before). Caps to catheter bags left anywhere and also elastic suspenders.

From the moment you enter Sunrise of Tettenhall, there is a feeling of welcome and calm. The receptionist is the first person we see and all of them are always very friendly, but professional. We are always acknowledged by each member of staff that we meet, no matter how busy they are. We are very happy
in the knowledge that my mum is getting the highest standard of care available. She has been at Sunrise of Tettenhall for 18 months and is very contented and happy.

We have a happy life here at Sunrise with good care and food, plenty of activities and various classes i.e painting, cake-making etc. Outings on the mini bus to various of Staffordshire and surrounding areas. We have a visiting member of Tettenhall Church most weeks and all the usual seasons of the
church throughout the year and observed we have great celebrations coming in June for the Queen's 90th birthday and some of our residents, 6 in number including myself, are also celebrating 90th birthdays. Hope you find this information useful.

Excellent surroundings. Very clean. Only criticism was the time it took for carers to respond to her buzzer when she called. She found two residents in her room at night which upset her.

My wife has dementia which was diagnosed in March 2009
After an extensive review and many verbal enquiries - many from Caring Professionals - my family and I chose Sunrise for my wife because we judged it as being the best accommodation in the area. Her initial stay was for 1 months respite in September
2013 from which both she and I benefited. On November 28th 2013 my wife moved again into Sunrise as a permanent resident where she still resides.
Until earlier this year all was well but around early May, from my frequent visits, I detected a lowering of standards of care which I deduced was caused by shortage of caring staff and their supervision. I had a discussion with one of the Duty Managers who advised me that she would email her senior colleagues and convene a meeting with them to advise them of my views. Almost immediately I noticed an improvement back to the previous higher standards.
On 25th September 2015 I signed Form of Variation agreeing to increase the Care Level for my wife from Rem2 to Bespoke 2.

Care administered to my mother has been very good. The carers are kind and patient where also being efficient in the tasks they perform. The standard of food is very good with a good variety on the menu. There is always something that mum will like. The play rooms are always clean and tidy. The bedrooms
are cleaned every day to a very high standard. The only minor weakness is that is sometimes it takes a little too long before help arrives if mum has pressed her buzzer. Overall the service is excellent and all staff are helpful and friendly.

Job Title: General Manager

Joined: 2023

I qualified as a nurse in 2011 and have worked in various roles during my nursing career.


This has enabled me to gain the experience and knowledge that I have today and to be in the privileged position of managing Foxland Grange.


My roles have included working in hospitals, in a quality team, developing practice for nurses and in complex care in a nursing home. Delivering the best quality care is at the heart of what I do.


I do my utmost to ensure that everyone feels valued, listened to and supported with their needs and wishes. I love to get to know each person in my care and have a friendly chat with their family and friends, so please come in and say hello!
