In addition to the weekly fees above, nursing service fees are charged at £229.95 per week. Respite stays
are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above.

Please note, the weekly fee does not include hairdressing, chiropody or other healthcare visits or
appointments not covered by the NHS, toiletries, newspapers or magazines, any over the counter
medications that a GP wouldn’t normally prescribe such as paracetamol and indigestion relief, and any
other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

However, I do note that there may be some small areas for improvement, which we’ll be more than happy to look into for you. In regards to food, our meals are all cooked fresh in-house with menus planned around residents’ wishes, so if there’s anything that we can change or any favourites your mother would like to see on the menu, our head chef would be pleased to look at adding to or adapting our dishes. I would like to reassure you that, although we understand change can be a little unsettling, our new General Manager is completely committed to maintaining the excellent standards of lifestyle and care at Foxland Grange, and she is fully supporting her team to deliver this. We hold both regular resident forums as well as relative meetings which everyone is welcome to join, and of course if you’re not available to attend, the manager's door is always open and she will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have, or hear any suggestions or ideas for developments you’d like to see at the home. In regards to the location, we do have some areas in the home with key codes in place for the safety of residents – of course, our concierge as well as the rest of the team are always happy to help visitors around the building, but when you visit again we are also more than happy to provide you with the code should you wish to navigate yourself. Just to reassure you, we always make sure that we have the right numbers of colleagues on hand, both throughout the day as well as the night, seven days a week, to ensure that we always deliver the safe, high quality care that we’re known for. When you visit, you may not always see every team member, especially during the day when there’s lots going on, as some may be delivering personal care in a resident’s room, helping assist with or get residents to or from an activity, or elsewhere with residents in the building, such as supporting them to enjoy the lovely garden or get a cup of tea in our bistro. I qualified as a nurse in 2011 and have worked in various roles during my nursing career.
This has enabled me to gain the experience and knowledge that I have today and to be in the privileged position of managing Foxland Grange.
My roles have included working in hospitals, in a quality team, developing practice for nurses and in complex care in a nursing home. Delivering the best quality care is at the heart of what I do.
I do my utmost to ensure that everyone feels valued, listened to and supported with their needs and wishes. I love to get to know each person in my care and have a friendly chat with their family and friends, so please come in and say hello!
