Mum was a resident at Sunrise of Tettenhall for 6 weeks of convalescence following hip replacement surgery. It was the perfect location for her at this time. Every member of staff we encountered was caring and extremely professional, from carers to dining room staff, reception staff to nursing staff-no
one was less than friendly, professional and welcoming. Prior to admittance, the administrative staff were informative and helpful in finding the right options for us as a family.


Initially mum found it hard to settle, but staff listened carefully to her likes and dislikes and bent over backwards to meet her individual needs and preferences, which made a huge difference.


There is a varied programme of activities on offer which is inclusive and stimulating. The food is varied, plentiful, nourishing and well presented and individual tastes can be catered for.


To sum up, I can recommend Sunrise most wholeheartedly and offer heartfelt thanks for their care, compassion and skill.

When visiting our friends, we were highly impressed by the friendlinesses of all members of staff. Particularly also, their caring nature and level of patience and compassion when dealing not just with our own friends but other residents too.
We were so impressed, being elderly ourselves, that we have
determined that should the need arise for us in any way in the future, this would be the home of our choice.

Sunrise were happy to persevere with Dad's needs when he first arrived at Sunrise 3 years ago.
He has since settled well, enjoying the routine and facilities.

I always have a warm welcome from the concierge. Entrance Hall is attractively presented - especially flowers. All areas very clean and tidy - passage for wheelchairs and walking aids able to access all areas. Caring staff generally helpful towards residents. Visiting entertainers (especially singers)
add to a lively atmosphere and are always made welcome. Providing activities (eg. flower arranging) gives residents something useful to achieve - which residents enjoy.

Better flavour and variety of food needed. Very expensive levels of care. Items lost or spoiled in the laundry. Could do better on feedback to relatives.

Sunrise offers a service that tries to replicate a hotel environment. You will not be able to please all residents and unfortunately, my father in law will never be content, as he would rather be in his own home. This is not possible as he needs full-time care.
The only way he would be happy is with
one to one care.
Sometimes he feels that the staff don't actually listen and are rushing, but as I said he would never be fully satisfied.

My husband is always clean and shaven and if a health 'blip', the doctor is called in. Staff caring. Very good care and facilities but what a cost.

Since my grandad has been in the care of Sunrise of Tettenhall, he has improved greatly including his mobility, eating habits appearance, independence and general overall well-being. Due to working in the healthcare sector for over 10 years, I was very nervous about how my grandad would adjust in a
home and struggle with trusting someone with his care. However, he is so happy living at Sunrise of Tettenhall and I am happy because I now have trust in Sunrise and their staff. Although unhappy with one comment made by a member of staff, "we discourage family member visits at meal times."

When I arrive to visit a friend who is a resident. I am always greeted with a welcome from the staff.

I find the staff very efficient and helpful. My mum has started to walk properly all the way from her room to the downstairs area taking part in activities and socialising well with staff and the residents of Sunrise.
I cannot fault this lovely atmosphere and although she is leaving on the 1st March,
she has been very happy at Sunrise.

Friendly staff, excellent meals. Feels at ease knowing my granddads being cared for in lovely surroundings by good staff. After having live in carers at home, which we were very disappointed with, we are now happy that he is being well looked after.

The staff in Renaissance are all good and very caring - people with oodles of patience for every patient. Requests sometimes take a little longer than I would have hoped, but always things are sorted.
I would like to see a bit more care taken of the bistro area. The floor is not always cleaned but
that is understandable with the number of people using the facility.
It is wonderful that there are always refreshments available to everyone. A feather in your cap!

The hospitality and entertainment over the Christmas and New Year period were excellent. As my mother could not be at home over this period I could not have wished for a better environment.
All festivities and meals were coordinated and families were invited to join if they so wished. All residents
received presents from Santa and the home was decorated beautifully.

Katy Anderson

Job Title: General Manager

Joined: 2023

I qualified as a nurse in 2011 and have worked in various roles during my nursing career.


This has enabled me to gain the experience and knowledge that I have today and to be in the privileged position of managing Foxland Grange.


My roles have included working in hospitals, in a quality team, developing practice for nurses and in complex care in a nursing home. Delivering the best quality care is at the heart of what I do.


I do my utmost to ensure that everyone feels valued, listened to and supported with their needs and wishes. I love to get to know each person in my care and have a friendly chat with their family and friends, so please come in and say hello!
