MHA Waterside House provides residential and dementia care for up to 60 residents within a comfortable and accessible living environment. Located just a short distance from Wednesfield shopping centre and Bentley Bridge retail park, with scenic spots like the nearby canal adding to its appeal. The home is made up of four distinct wings—Bluebell, Primrose, Magnolia, and Heather—each featuring en-suite rooms, lounges and shared dining areas.

The landscaped gardens offer residents a peaceful retreat to enjoy nature. With a summer house, flower-filled pocket gardens, and patio seating areas, the outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities. Residents actively engage in gardening projects like the Pot Gang, growing vegetables such as tomatoes, chillies, and potatoes for meals.

Specialising in dementia and residential care, the team utilises innovative tools like interactive ‘magic tables’ and robotic pets to engage and comfort residents. Long-serving staff, many of whom have been part of the team since 2005, provide compassionate, consistent care. The home also offers spiritual support through a chaplain and a relatives’ support group to keep families connected.

My sister went to Waterside House April 10th of this year. She has been treated with dignity and support and any issues that arise are dealt with quickly ensuring her safety and well being. Unfortunately, she is not mentally able to complete this review.

Poor communication on all levels. Poor management. Lack of knowledge re staff - no common sense, poor caring skills, lazy. Lack of motivation. Poor attitude.


Needs refurbishing, smells. Very hot, poor ventilation. No stimulation for residents. Would advise others not to put their loved ones

in the home.

My dad has been here for 2 years, and I can honestly say he has had brilliant care. The staff are caring and respectful. Nothing is too much trouble. They always keep me informed if there are any problems with dad.
I have no complaints, only admiration and respect for management and staff.
