The home is a superbly converted and very attractively furnished house originally built in the 1920s for a famous tea family and is set in 3 acres of lovely grounds in a quiet village location at the foot of the Malvern Hills.

The team offers residential care, specialist dementia care, respite and day care and couples care in a comfortable, warm and welcoming environment.

Evendine is also one of the leading dementia care homes in the area thanks to its team of highly experienced carers with specialised training and knowledge in dementia care.

For residents who don’t yet need full-time care but require short-term support, sometimes because their usual carers are unavailable, the team can offer respite care. Each respite or short-stay resident receives the same levels of care, respect, and dignity as permanent residents.

The services offered at Evendine House are personalised for each resident through the use of individually tailored care plans and packages. Staff work hard to ensure that residents’ individual needs and wishes are always catered for.   • Fees are dependent on the choice of room and care needs so fees tend to vary for most residents. However, the following can be used as a basic guideline of our fees:


    A room without an en-suite and for a resident with good mobility will cost around £1100 a week and upwards
    For a similar room but where the resident requires a higher level of care due to mobility or cognitive constraints, fees may be higher.
    An en-suite room for a resident with good mobility will cost from £1200 a week and upwards. These fees may be £100+ per week higher if the room is larger than average.
    For a large-sized ensuite room and for residents higher needs, fees start from £1250 per week and can vary again depending on a resident’s specific care needs.

Evendine House is not a purpose built care home and therefore has shortcomings which are not easily correctable. It is a pity that the development plans appear to have sunk without trace. The excellent and caring staff do a good job in less than ideal circumstances.

It is not our wish or intent to own or operate "a purpose built care home" - we believe our residents prefer a homely ' 4 star Country House hotel' style of accommodation which is exactly what Evendine provides. Further, the "development plans have not sunk without trace" we have obtained full planning permission for a wonderful extension which will be built in the same style as the current building and give us a cinema, beauty treatment room, sun-filled atrium, activities room and much much more.
The reviewer had previously verbally indicated that she was entirely happy with all aspects of Evendine and the care we provide.

My mother has lived at Evendine House for just over 6 years. The care she has received has always been very good. During this 6 year period there has been 1 change of ownership and 1 new Manager; throughout these changes, the high standard of care remained constant. All residents appear to be understood,
enjoyed and valued for their individual personalities and unique ways. My mother’s changing needs have been respected and quickly responded to, from everyday personal requirements to the preparation of specific dishes for dietary requirements. Visitors are greeted with a friendly welcome and are looked after with refreshments. I have always found Management to be readily available and quickly answer any queries. Overall Evendine offers a homely, comfortable and well-maintained environment to its residents and visitors alike.

Evendine House care for my father very well. All the staff are patient, courteous and see to all of his needs.
We as a family have been very happy with the care he gets.
The food is always good and it feels like my father's home.
We are always made welcome when we visit too.

My mother had four extremely happy years at Evendine House. From the moment she arrived until the day she died, the staff showed exceptional love and care and I felt they really know her. The atmosphere in the home was always welcoming and the carers always greeted us and looked after us too. It is
a real home from home and is a truly wonderful place.
