Ross Court is a beautiful home surrounded by an acre of green gardens and mature woodland, situated just north of the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye. The home offers residential and respite care.

There are ensuite bedrooms, each one a tastefully decorated haven for residents where the staff provide the highest standards of care,

Ross Court was refurbished in 2023 and has two dining spaces, two lounges, libraries and a bar. There is also a garden with well-maintained walkways, a summer house and gazebo and raised vegetable beds.

Trained chefs prepare fresh, nutritious, and tasty meals to a daily menu. Residents can choose to eat either in the communal dining room or in their own bedrooms. Special diets will be catered for.

An activities coordinator plans a busy events schedule, with daily activities in the home and regular trips beyond it.

Instantly, on entering Barchester Ross Court Care Home, the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. Staff and management are very kind and welcoming. They treat the residents like treasured guests in a five-star hotel and very much retain the personal touch. I am very happy with my 93-year-old friend
being looked after in Ross Court. To visit her here is very pleasant and she feels like she is at home. I have visited other care homes in the area and feel Ross Court has the best facilities and care.

Dad enjoyed his stay at Barchester Ross Court Care Home, he was unsettled to begin with but soon found his way around and made friends. He especially enjoyed the activities and food. IN hindsight, his first stay for respite should have been a fortnight to give him more time to adjust but that was our
decision and nothing to do with Ross Court.

Ross Court Care Home is beyond excellent! My mother has been at Ross Court for around 3 years now. Her dementia is now quite severe. I live in the USA and it gives me such comfort to know she is being well cared for. Absolutely all of the staff are fantastic. I am able to do video calls with my mum
anytime which is the next best thing to being there. I would highly recommend this care home in a heartbeat.

Ross Court: since the refurbishment the home is like a top hotel, staff are always friendly and eager to help when needed.
The bedroom is very spacious and well-appointed; food is excellent-restaurant quality! All in all an excellent home for MIL.

Ross Court - the staff are incredibly compassionate and are always available to help and support Mum. As a family we feel that our mum is exceptionally well cared for, they always have time for a chat if we have questions. Nothing is too much.

Home visited over the last 18 months, I have found the staff helpful and cheerful. My friend is happy and well cared for. The care facility is always clean and staff is on hand to assist. They provided a lovely birthday tea for my friend and her family just last week and had a very enjoyable time.

My mum has been in Ross Court Care Home for 18 months. Living as I do, 450 miles away from the care home, I've always felt secure with the level of care and support that all the staff at Ross Court provide. The food is first-rate and almost at hotel standards. I visit Ross Court every 8 weeks and the
level of care and support has never changed.

I was so impressed by the level of commitment to the care of residents by all staff. They couldn't do enough for my parents and us when we visited. The food was appropriate to the needs of the individuals, that is they cared for their preferences and portioned according to their appetite. They made
my parent's last few weeks as comfortable as they could. Can't thank them enough.

My mother was a resident at Ross Court from January 2023 to December 2024. Who cannot thank the staff enough for their love, care and compassion during this time. Also, the dignity with which she was treated as her health began to fail. Thank you Ross Court.

My husband was extremely happy at Barchester Ross Court Care Home, he even stayed an extra week! He loved the food and thought the staff were wonderful. They all made time to talk to him and made a great fuss on his birthday which he loved. When I need a rest, he will be quite happy to go back which

Barchester Ross Court Care Home was beautifully appointed and clean throughout. All the staff were professional and caring and took an interest in their clients. The preparation of the food was very good and there was plenty of choice on the varied menu. Communication was excellent, especially with

I recently visited my godfather at Barchester Ross Court Care Home and was impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. The surroundings and rooms are well-kept, up to date and have been recently refurbished. I have visited many homes and this is the best I have come across. I believe my godfather is

Since 2015, my mother has been at Ross Court. She has been kept safe through covid, cared for and attended to when ill, been entertained, and her needs and desires have been catered for. She now has a 5-star service in a 5-star model environment delivered by top quality staff, who not only look after
her welfare but mine too by keeping me informed and advised accordingly.

I approve of the refurbishment of Ross Court; however, I wonder if there are any plans to redecorate the bedrooms. My mother's room will benefit from decorating and new curtains, which I understand will be done in the new year.

All staff have been welcoming when admitting my mum to Ross Court. The newly refurbished areas add to the ambience of the premises and the new furniture enhances the overall standard of accommodation.
The manager and staff are always helpful when we have any questions concerning my mother's well-being.
On occasions we have visited when activities are taking place, my mother enjoys the stimulation for her mental health.

I have been working within the healthcare sector for over seven years and I have degrees in nursing and pharmacy.


My passion in life is care and I believe the way we care for our elders is truly a reflection of us as a society.


In my role as General Manager, I’m able to use my passion to help build a caring and dedicated team with a focus on providing unique care for each resident based on respect, dignity and choice. I am also committed to ensuring that our residents live a full and interesting life at Ross Court through our activities calendars and life-enrichment programme.


My door is always open to anyone who is starting their care journey or those who would like to discuss life at Ross Court, so please drop in for a chat at any time.
