Providing residential and dementia care, the home has launched its beautiful eight-bed Mulberry Suite offering respite care breaks, which can be pre-booked up to six months ahead. This unique service means that family carers can have some ‘me time’, whilst their loved one is being cared for in wonderful surroundings. The suite has beautifully decorated bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms, a communal lounge and dining area, kitchenette and a quiet study area.

And person-centred day care sessions are also provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays (9.30am to 4.30pm). These sessions include fabulous activities, a delicious lunch and afternoon tea and refreshments.

The gardens at Breme are a beautiful space for the residents to grow their own fruit and veg, which they pick for the chef to use in the kitchen, giving them such a sense of achievement.

There are visits from local nursery children and volunteers, a local vicar who holds religious services, animal visits, pamper sessions, weekly community coffee mornings, live music, baking, fitness classes and so much more! There is also a minibus, for regular day trips. The home also has fantastic links with Bromsgrove Library, keeping the residents regularly supplied with reading materials!

The beautiful gardens are perfect for summer picnics, parties and relaxing with family and friends, who are welcome to visit at any time. The home also has its own private Facebook group, so loved ones can stay connected and see what the residents are enjoying, even if they can’t be there that day.

Breme has beautiful bedrooms, with ensuite wet rooms, several of which have patio access to the gardens. There is also a salon, for weekly appointments with a mobile hairdresser.

There are lovely lounge areas and dining rooms, where residents enjoy delicious, home-cooked food and home-baked treats for afternoon tea. The residents also enjoy regular cheese and wine nights.

My mother has been a resident since 2017 and she has enjoyed her stay at Breme Residential Care Home and continues to do so. The staff are amazing. Very supportive, caring and helpful. She enjoys the activities. The pantomime they were taken to in December 2022 was wonderful, my mom and the residents
who went on the trip thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They also had lunch at a local pub in January 2023 and looking at the photos there were smiles all round. As a daughter, I couldn't be more grateful to all the staff for taking good care of my mom. The care comes from carers, cleaners, kitchen staff and managers and admin staff. The carers do go above and beyond for the residents and I think as resident's families we should all be very grateful to them because they are doing what, unfortunately for whatever reason, we can't. A big thank you to all the team at Breme Care Home.

Our father was cared for at Breme Residential Care Home for nearly a year. In that time he never had an unkind word for any of the staff. They were always respectful to him and cared for him with patience, kindness and humour, nothing being too much trouble. Even at the end he was treated with gentleness
and consideration. In a very short time the management and staff had made him feel at home, for which we will always be grateful.

The overall experience has been very positive with the staff being very approachable and friendly.

My mum moved to Breme Residential Care Home six years ago. She soon settled in and everyone became like her extended family. She was well looked after and I was kept informed of any changes in her condition. When a problem arose I mentioned it to the staff and it soon got sorted. I visited frequently,
when permitted due to covid, to find everyone was very welcoming, caring and helpful. During Mums stay there were some tough times, the staff were supportive with a smile not just to Mum but to myself and other family members. I have already highly recommended Breme Residential Care Home to friends and acquaintances and will continue to do so.

The night staff contacted me as my mother was unresponsive and they were worried. An ambulance was called, but never arrived till four and a half hours after. The night staff were caring, supportive and sat in turn in my mum's room. When I was telephoned, it was immediately after the ambulance was called.
The care my mum received was exemplary.

My first visit was this morning, so these are my initial thoughts. The home is clean and well looked after. The reception ladies were welcoming and friendly and made every effort to help me see my relative. I cannot comment on value for money or management since I have been involved with neither. However,
my relative has settled well in the very short time she has been there and that is very important to me.

My husband has Alzheimers and has been at Breme House for four years. I pay a considerable amount 'top up' fee each month. I begrudge every penny now. The management (up to now) has been extremely poor. Any concerns were ignored. It's evident that Breme House is understaffed at all times, whatever management
say. The staff do their best and are very kind. Activities for them are virtually non-existent, just the T.V! Hygiene is questionable, especially in the kitchen/diner on the 1st floor. I would not recommend Breme House to anyone. This relates to the management prior to June 2022.

My mother has been in Breme House since August 2021. She had previously been in a more expensive, brand new and smarter home in Bromsgrove, where my sister and I felt that she was being neglected. We have been very pleased with the Breme. The staff are caring and thoughtful and Mum is well looked after.
I have no hesitation in recommending Breme.

My Mom and Mother-in-law have both been residents at this home for quite some time. I have always been impressed by the level of care, support and compassion they both receive. The staff are very friendly and kind and make a real effort. Mom always appears well cared for which is important. I have been
there at mealtimes and have seen at first hand the food that is provided which Mom always enjoys.
There is also some form of activity going on e.g. at one time during the pandemic the staff created a virtual sea cruise for residents by showcasing a different destination each day with music, food and activities.
I have already recommended this home to friends and family and will continue to do so.
I consider it a lovely place to be, which I think says something as I am a retired nurse who used to inspect Care Homes for a living.

I am extremely pleased with the care that is given to Mum at Breme. This year has shown its challenges but the staff continue to work tirelessly each and every day. Mum is always happy and content when I see and speak to her, through a visit or Skype call. The communication is excellent, keeping you
up to date with the health and well being of residents. The newsletter is a fabulous read and the photos show your relatives having fun and sharing their joy. All the staff demonstrate warmth and care for Mum and she truly appreciates it.

So pleased that Mom is a resident at Breme House. We all know she is not only safe but extremely well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble. Breme HResidential Care Home are constantly updating us with what is going on in these weird times. Newsletters, emails and phone calls are a constant reassurance
that this is one of the best care homes in Bromsgrove that Mom could be in. All of the staff are on first name terms not only with Mom, but with the rest of the family. Activities abound, positiveness abounds - all due to hardworking staff from managers right through to cleaners. Although Covid has restricted many things - it is as though Mom has gained another 'family'.
Due to scrupulous hygiene and rigorous testing very few have tested positive. A major worry in these uncertain times. Vaccinations are about to take place. Hopefully, the end may be in sight and we will get to hug Mom again.

Mom has been at Breme for just over 3 years and has always received excellent care. The staff work extremely hard to give the residents the care they need. The food is good with a nice choice every day. l would also like to thank the cleaning and laundry staff who do a wonderful job and work extremely

My husband has been at Breme for 21-months now. He settled very quickly and is looked after with great kindness and care. During the pandemic, I have, like all relatives, missed being able to touch and comfort my husband, but strict rules have to be applied to keep everyone safe - and because of this,
the residents have had a very safe environment. The staff are always friendly and very helpful.

I know my mom is in the best care where she is and I don't have to worry about her even though I cannot see her.
She is having more fun than me under these circumstances.
She is well fed and watered and does not have to do anything but eat and be happy.

My Mum came into Breme shortly before Lockdown. She had lived alone before then but, due to numerous falls was unable to cope on her own. It took a lot of persuading to get her to visit Breme but once she did she happily agreed to a 2 weeks respite period and then to permanent residency. It was a
rocky start (she's very stubborn)! The staff are wonderful. They go above and beyond the call of duty. Mum loves them all. It also gives me peace of mind as I live so far away and can't get down too often.

My Gran arrived in March 2020 in difficult circumstances after the passing of my Grandad. As a suffer from Alzheimer's, I was so worried about the adverse effect of all the upheaval. However, I needn't have been, she's settled in brilliantly, made friends and put on weight. I can't thank the staff enough.

Wonderful services from the start. It took a while for my grandmother to settle in but with wonderful caring staff, she soon became part of the care family. Family members greeted by name and they all know who you are visiting. During COVID-19, we have been informed and felt at ease knowing our grandmother
